Maybe try Brent Venables. I don't know how much Clemson wants to pay to keep him.

No, Clemson has no defense

The Chiz is available. His track record as a DC is actually pretty good, and there's no way he will ever be offered another HC position at a major program. Just keep him away from literally every other aspect of your program.

Also, Pruitt is an unprofessional scumbag.

Yeah Leavitt would be my first choice he built that USF program from the ground up.

I would also like to take this opportunity to admit that I was an idiot for trying to defend CTG. I honestly thought the D would continue to improve but it has actually gotten worse since the MizZzou game. It is not often that I wear my Mickey Mouse sunglasses, but I most certainly had them on in this instance.

You were right, I was wrong and I am more than willing to admit that.

Seriously, I'll take a talented piece of trash over one that isn't even good at his job in addition to his many personal flaws.

Seriously, is there anything redeeming about Tubby the 3rd down slayer?

So I apologize for the bump but I think we got a guy to call this off season. Guy's a lock.

Wouldn't leave FSU for us anyways. Ppl need to get this shite out of their minds. Everyone with a half a brain knows that Richt will likely promote CCW. I don't think he has another rebuild in him.

Narduzzi has turned down every non-hc position offered him, he was in running for both clemson and tenn. he aint coming here for dc.

Michael: Well, when Johnny was first starting out, he was signed to a personal services contract with this big-band leader. And as his career got better and better, he wanted to get out of it. But the band leader wouldn't let him. Now, Johnny is my father's godson. So my father went to see this bandleader and offered him $10,000 to let Johnny go, but the bandleader said no. So the next day, my father went back, only this time with Luca Brasi. Within an hour, he had a signed release for a certified check of $1000.

Kay Adams: How did he do that?

Michael: My father made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

Kay Adams: What was that?

Michael: Luca Brasi held a gun to his head, and my father assured him that either his brains or his signature would be on the contract.

If he can turn it around then I'm fine with that. But if he sucks it up against the florida offense then the hammer should fall swiftly after the game.

Exactly.

Vandy game had alot of special teams and offensive frickups that gave Vandy alot of those points, I think the defense actually played really well.

I was in a bad emotional state looking for someone to lynch, and Grantham already had me pissed.

Now that I've calmed down, I'm willing to see how he handles Florida's shitty offense.

I won't count special teams or offensive frickups against grantham the way "scoring defense" stats do.

I feel like bumping my topic from last night defending Grantham.

As a DC, Chris Wilson is a 4-3 guy. This was his first year in the 3-4 and he's likely still kind of learning. I could see CKO getting the nod if Richt promotes from within.

I really don't fricking like you, Deeprig, but I like this post. This defense was supposed to get better week to week. The "getting better" part has been really slow, but I think CTG deserves the rest of the season to prove himself. The Vandy meltdown can be laid on the shoulders of shitty special teams and a depleted offense. But if we can't stop the cluster frick UF offense it's time to look elsewhere. And the same goes the rest of the season. Youth and inexperience isn't an excuse anymore.

I will plug the guy I am intrigued by. Never been a DC but always seems to have a great secondary put together out of less than famous recruits at VaTech- Torrian Gray. He already recruits the ATL and FL for VT as well.

Why do some of you act like adjusting to the 34 for a defensive coach is like learning to speak mandarin. I almost assure you hes learning little to nothing from CTG on how to run a base 34
