What's the outlook for the Hoop Dawgs this year? Seems like NIL and the portal has really lessened enthusiasm for college hoops. They mentioned Duke the other night on Sports talk but haven't heard much about hoops. Doesn't sound like much expectation or interest in hoops this year which is probably good for White. If he can sneak into the tourney would be huge for him.

honestly, probably the best outlook since the Harrick days. Best top to bottom roster we've had in decades and one of the (assumed) better players is out the first 9 games so we haven't even seen him yet.

Perhaps, but it's certainly helped UGA in particular. I don't think there's a single guy on the roster that would be here and contributing if it weren't for the portal and/or NIL.

It's unfortunate that the SEC is so friggin good at everything beucase although we are much improved, a lot of other teams are too. I won' ever say "tourney or bust" as a uga basketball fan, BUT, it really feels like we should/need to make it this year.

ESPN+ won’t let me stream the game in Jamaica. WTF. Looks like a slow start from both teams based on the box score

Yeah… Cyril is playing well. Other than that, it’s been kinda rough. We clearly are the more athletic team.

Dawgs looking solid AF. 3 ball is not falling but we’re dominating in the paint and they can’t score on us. We already have 4 blocks also.

Def says something when we can lead by 10 on the road despite not hitting a 3. If those start to fall, goodness.
Definitely looks like a more capable squad. Still look like they’re figuring themselves out but the talent is there and the confidence is coming along.
