He had 5 catches for 29 yards. This was his biggest impact on the game:

Maybe he just looked better to me in the catch or two I saw. Was the strip considered/counted a catch and yards added?

The strip was crazy. Inexperience, no doubt. My sophomore year in HS I had an interception (Was playing safety at that particular time) taken out of my hands like that.

ETA: I think Foreman is a long shot so not including him.

I tend to agree on Foreman.

Just get the best players. If someone ends up out then it's unfortunate.

Also, we can't know what the rules on scholarships is going to be in the coming season. Just get the best players and sort it out later.

Isn't that kind of what Richt did?

Kirby will just showcase his blocking skills. We don’t know how to use a TE

To some extent yes, which is why we never had a complete team under Richt. The caveat to the: get the best player available approach, is you must cover all of your needs across the board to have a complete team. We still haven't done that at some key positions under Kirby, not the least of which has been QB, but Kirby has recruited much better than CMR overall and I hoping for the best.

Richt got the best skill players. Up front, his recruiting was less than stellar.

since it seems like all hell is breaking loose over at LSU, I would say our chances to land Smith have gone up. The dad of a top croot over at LSU for the 2021 class voiced his displeasure with how the LSU fanbase/ex players are treating Gilbert for opting out LINK

Their class could start falling apart if the program continues to implode.

That being said, Smith might not want to be apart of that.

I agree with you to a certain point...but he has actually recruited extremely well at QB.

Fields
Fromm
Beck
Vandegriff
and has gotten Newman and Daniels off the transfer portal.

His problem has been keeping them. But I think I understand your point.

Yeah. taking the best available instead of getting top OLine and DLine players.

It did, but it's back and really good this time around. I'd recommend checking it out. Tons of good info from Americus and 2 others "in the know".

Well crap. I found a site based on your.....clue.....but that doesn’t look like it. Maybe it is?
