Little disappointed by the decision, but not really surprised.

Not sure how this addresses his homesickness.

He wasn’t coming here. We have too much depth and talent at TE. Washington/Fitzpatrick/Bowers is a much better situation than Florida with Gilbert.

Gonna have Emory Jones getting the ball to em?

Yea,I'm a little surprised.

It would be a little different if they had Trask returning.

He was a want and not a need. He wants to play WR and be the man. It is what it is.

George is the man here sorry, Burton will be the #2. I'm happy with Big0.

Very strange... there are just some guys who don’t want to play for UGA... oh well.

He is transferring there thinking he will have a career like Pitts. Truth is, Pitt's wouldn't have had the career he did without Trask. Emory Jones isn't half the thrower Trask is.

Good luck to him, but he will likely get rolled every year in Jacksonville.

Don't underestimate Emory Jones ability. He was a top 100 recruit.

Landing spot makes sense to me. Arik will be clear cut #1 who gets funneled targets with a coach who just got a TE drafted in the top 10-15 (tentatively). Seems like his priority is on maximizing his draft grade, can't blame him for that.

He would have been a second or third option here, just the reality of it. UGA will be fine without him, hate that he went to Florida though.

He’s looked like warmed over garbage in his limited playing time.

I wonder what is going on with that guy? He wanted away from Orgeron? Baton Rouge? I wonder if there are some issues regarding his mental state?

I guess his homesickness got cured, if that was what it was.

Most seem to think it was mental issues. He was really quiet during his recruitment and wasn't one to like attention. He has made quite the spectacle out of all of this, so it leads me to believe he has been going through something.

At the end of the day, he's just a kid and I hope he has a good support system to get him through whatever it might be. Back in school, I witnessed some guys go through psychosis. It's some scary shite, they have no control over what's going on. Not saying it is psychosis but around that age is when many have their first episode.
