Anyone else notice the “underdog mentality” with Bama fans?

It has started to bug the snot out of me these guys are acting like a path to victory vs Saban is major disrespect. They really take it way to hard when people aren’t on their knees for the tide.
I hope we beat the ever living shite out of them.

Kirby should put on the oressure on Bama and tell our guys to play like they have nothing to lose

Then dont leave a bunch of points on the field.

Or lift off the pedal of the Ferrari and go all conservative with a lead in the second half.

Double digit lead isn’t enough. Go for triple digits this time.

Win in Indy and Atlanta doesn't matter.

A few of my Bama friends are down on this Bama team. They think that there are some coaching issues in some areas.

There may very well be, but until we prove on the field otherwise, 7 straight losses to Bama makes me think Saban will find a way to win. I hope I'm wrong and this is just conditioning, but it's a self-defense mechanism at this point.

I'd love to be up by 30 going into the 4Q, so my pulse rate isn't 130 for a solid hour.

I used to think I would never live long enough to see the series with Tenn turn around or ever see the series with Florida turn around. But, it did.

I don't believe anything that happens Monday night will surprise me. Surely, Georgia will play better and Alabama can't play that well again.

That is why they lost nearly all their games against the tide.

I hope we beat them so badly that Daniels is playing in the 4th quarter.

That would be the ultimate FU to the Tide. I like it.

That "UGA can't win a full NC because Bama beat them in the SECCG" thread on the SECR is pure, uncut, preemptive coping from an Alabama alter.

Yes, they are the masters of the "poor mouth". They get it from Bear Bryant. It's a good strategy.

Nah, the ultimate FU would be - assuming we win - to have absolutely everyone in the postgame interviews do a "Let's take a minute to congratulate Alabama on their really successful season. They're still a great team!" Give 'em the full heroic underdog treatment.

They are unstable as a group. In the years immediately after Saban retires, there will be a material increase in psychotic episodes across the state of Alabama.

And Georgia is simply a better team overall at this point. Yes, Alabama has a stellar QB. They have maybe one or two other positions where they have the talent edge. But going position by position, UGA has overtaken them a bit. There is no objective reason to think we will not win this game.

Regression to the mean for both teams results in Kirby hoisting the trophy Monday night.

I have a Bama friend that is telling me Bama will lose. Bama fans have been very critical of the defense and offensive line this year. They are also critical of some of the close games. To me this Bama team is as good as any one we've faced in the last 10 years.
