Alright, which one of you assholes were telling me that Wilson wasn’t a first or second take? Fess up and eat your crow.

Like I said, three first round Dawgs tonight!

Mea culpa.I didn't think he'd go in the 1st 3 rounds last summer but it is a pretty slender year for OT's.

Still say he coulda used another year but who can argue with 1st Rd money.

Its like one of the analysts said, with another year at left tackle, he could be a top 10 pick. If you think he has that talent in him, why not get him early now?

It would depend on how mature he is and if
he holds up his confidence and development
at a different level.

There's no redshirt year in the NFL so we'll know soon enough and I'll think he'll play guard and not tackle.

What a joke! They want a pure pass catching RB, Swift is clearly the best at it

James Coley and his 200 dive calls didn’t do him any favors.

How is he clearly the best at it? Edwards-Helaire put up monster numbers.

For the record, and I could be biased, I think Swift is the best pass-catcher out of the backfield in some time. The issue is he was criminal underutilized in the supposed "offense" we ran last year.

only getting him 17 catches this year was a travesty.

had 32 splitting time with Holyfield and 24 as freshman with Chubb and Sony.

Imagine taking a dude who rode the pine behind some no name Dorsette over the most dynamic rb in the draft.

Welp, Deeprig's never going to hear the end of this on the SECR, for the next year.

With the lack of production from our receivers, the entire design of the offense didn't help getting the ball to swift as a target. The defense could sit 9 defenders within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage. We didn't have the type of offense to stretch a defense vertically along with horizontally.

Imagine what Swift could’ve done in that LSU offense. That was one of the most profilic offenses in NCAA history. Everyone put up monster numbers

I think Swift would have been better. But if you’re trying to look at it from an unbiased perspective, I don’t know how you could say Swift is clearly better as a receiver.

You are correct, I am a little biased. Either way it should make for another good UGA RB vs LSU RB thread to follow this season.
