Who thinks we are average and are going to lose 2 to 3 games?

Beck ain't got it and our O-line is not going to gel.

I think our top 3 concerns are O Line, RB, and QB in that order.

The line can most certainly gel. Talent is there, but we lost some good players.

We need a RB that can run between the tackles and get tough yards consistently. We are missing that as of so far.

Beck isn’t Stetson. Gunner is our future. Would love to see Beck prove me wrong. He is not far off, but not there yet.

Eh we started off shaky.
I am confident we would have arse raped both bama and Texas today.

Texas is a pretty complete team.

Hope you're right, but I think we would have lost to both of those teams tonight.

No way in hell we would’ve lost to either one bc we have a defense and a better home crowd than bama.

I think any team with a pass rush is going to eat Beck alive with our O-line play. Lack of running game will allow them to pin the ears back. I’m in the camp we lose to Bama and Texas today. We have a lot of work to do. Don’t have much identity on either side of the ball.

Our problems are mostly fixable with reps. The o line is having a decent amount of miscommunication for whatever reason and flat out not being certain who to block. Reps will help. Beck will get more comfortable with reps. What we are missing right now is a unicorn TE that was a blocking mismatch, a first round LT, and a 5th year QB who’d been through every imaginable scenario and come out on top and could also consistently erase missed blocks with his legs. There were bound to be road bumps.

Wr run blocking has been atrocious.
Run game has been terrible. Darnell washington is really the guy we need again

This is where you lose the plot.

UGA takes care of the ball very well and has the DBs to take advantage of mistakes. Replace either of those teams with UGA last and we're probably enjoying a +3 TO advantage and a double digit Dawg win.

ETA-

How did Milroe look vs the tomato can last week? Is he better than Beck?

Why you want to build confidence (or you think you could lose) you open it up against inferior opponents. When you and your team already have confidence in the QB, you work on weaknesses and don't concern yourself with looking good.

I don't think so. Our OLine hasn't been lights out, but Bama's is terrible. If Texas has a weakness, its their secondary. They were giving Bama WRs huge cushions and giving Milroe's deep balls that was making him look better than he was. I told my bunch watching that game, if Texas had a good secondary, they'd REALLY be in the Natty talk. But when they face a really good QB, that secondary is gonna get schooled if they don't shape up. Their DLine made up for it by being great.

Bama just looks soft and Saban has lost his mojo. That looks like a very sloppy, bad-coached and weak team. We could trash them...JHMO.

I kind of thought Texas left their secondary “exposed” intentionally knowing that the more often they pressured Milroe, the more likely he’d do something dumb. Against a QB that passes better I’d expect them to play more straight up allowing their secondary to look better. Just how I saw it.

Ehhhh… we beat Bama but lose to Texas. Not to say that won’t change but as of now, O-Line and slow starts have me worried. The SC game has me feeling uncomfortable for some reason.

43ppg and giving up 5ppg

That is exactly what we should have done against those 2 teams.

Against better competition our O will open the playbook. Kirby has always approached games this way. Keep things vanilla against lesser teams and get after it against better teams.

You can look at Samford and Kent state last year and this year we have done better.

Marquez Cooper this year 12 rushes for 8 yards

Last year he ran 21 for 90 yards with a TD

We're still #1 until someone beats us so enjoy the ride because we will eventually lose a game. However, when we lose a game, we won't cry like Bama fans because Humpty Dumpty had a big fall.

We scored 45 in a game where Brock Bowers had a single catch for 3 yards.

O will be fine.

They've basically played two preseason games for the most part. We haven't seen this team really fired up to play. I'm confident that the staff will actually have a game plan in place for Carolina and just vanilla schemes to figure out the depth chart. They should be fired up and ready to play a conference game. If they start out sluggish next week then I will start getting concerned.
