The whole point of this thread is to highlight Daniel's great night after the shitty qb play we've had for 1.5 years. Yet all you fricking negadawgs just want to focus on the bad things. Start another thread if you want to do that.

You just celebrate this great win. Make sure you drink some water before going to bed tonight. Nothing like beating and dominating a 2 win team loaded with walk ons.

Hot damn if the Disney Dawgs haven't come out.

I'll be at Dairy Lane in Sandersville tomorrow for lunch around 1. Come talk to me. I'll be the small guy in the corner.

3 hours each way is too far for me on a Sunday. While I appreciate the response I respectfully think you're a dipshit retard.

I’m usually a pretty serious nega-dawg, but I’m not seeing it, y’all. We played a pass-heavy, unique offense with the leader of our defense on the sideline.

Switching over to offense, what more could you want out of JT? Sure, MSU sold out to stop the run but JT passes WHERE THEY NEEDED TO BE. He had a couple of passes that his WR bailed him out on, but teams with good WRs expect to win a few of those. Overall, JT was solid and it was really great to see a UGA QB hit WRs deep again.

I agree with you.

Daniels was forced to win the game with his arm due to our oline mailing it in and he went for 400 yds. He hasn’t seen the field in over a year too. Granted he had some underthrows and bad decisions but as the game went on he started dialing it in. I thought he did really well and shows a lot of potential. Plus it’s obvious his ball is moving a lot faster than anyone else we’ve seen.

Exactly this. While it was a little rough listening this this broadcast at one point I agreed when they compared this to basically a hybrid triple option style using the pass instead of the run. We also looked pretty flat on D until the last few possessions, but you maybe play 1 team a year like that.

And to the point of this thread, how many times have we bitched about the other team stacking the box to make us win a game through the air? JT just did exactly that! The last drive had 2 passes dropped in the end zone, plus the 3 tipped passes earlier in the game, so he missed 5 passes and went for 400 and 4 TD’s. He made some iffy throws I’m sure he’d like back but he also didn’t overthrow anyone by 15 yards or launch a ball 20 ft over a 6’8 TE in the end zone. Let him get comfortable and then teams will have to respect that and the run game will open up. MSU had one game plan on D and they never broke from that.

Also can we update the title on this thread to add JT’s quote???

“If you have George Pickens and Jermaine Burton, if you’re not going to throw it up to them, don’t recruit them,” Daniels said.

Four of the 10 were batted balls.

Yet even more amazing, there are folks on this board who were going to great lengths to claim that Bennett was the real deal.

Now that we've seen a reminder of what an actual pro arm looks like, we won't hear so much about a 5-10 walk-on anymore. Yet I'm still amazed that there were people willing to go with Bennett simply because he was a local Georgia kid and a feel good story.

I just rewatch the game and saw that. Other than the 4 batted balls I only seen two passes where the receiver didn't have a chance to make a play on the ball.
