Coley is a recruiter which is precisely why Kirby had a hard time giving him up

Still curious to see if we can get a couple of these top 150 DE’s? There’s a couple, and not too far away, that look like absolute studs.

Edit: Top 150 overall player(s) btw.

Not sure he beats Hankton here.

Well, list doesn’t offer any clear-cut favorites. He coulda just thrown in Wyoming for good measure.

At which point does Florida become like Tennessee a few years ago where they pull a couple of blue chip recruits by sheer virtue of "It has to turn around at some point, I may as well help"?

Recruits don't really relate well to Dan Mullen.
Not sure that's something that can be fixed

2021! If we beat them this year they will be on Butch's Tennessee's team. They lose a good bit after this season, so this is has to be their year for them to establish something

We don't need another so-so 4 star WR (Tommy Bush, Trey Blount, etc) for this year's class. I hope the kid goes somewhere else so we can pursue better talent in next year's class.

Landing another Pickens-type talent at WR is worth 4 of those guys.

How have you came to the conclusion that Tommy Bush is so-so?

Don't want to waste a scholly on a redshirt player who might contribute as a Junior. It's time for Georgia to recruit guys who actually catch balls and put pressure on defenses.

Kirby, to his credit has started to recruit dudes who aren't just big bodies for blocking but we need to do more.

I really wish we'd held on to Corey Wren

I like Wren, but he was ranked lower than a lot of these guys. Wren is a guy that could be a stud if he develops hands, but as of now, he hasn’t proven anything as a WR. Solely would have been a jet sweep type player for his first couple years.

We picked up 3 in the 2020 class.
2 more in the 2019 class.
The closest to a stud in 2018 was Kearis Jackson. He's not on the other 5 players level and he's been snakebit with injuries.
We were definitely at a deficit in the 2018 and 2017 classes at WR. The 2016 class was too good in that we lost them after 3 years to the NFL.
