Was gonna respond to the previous topic, but knew that it would be the wrong way to go about things with your big post coming up.

Talk about out of left field.

5* RB Marshawn Lloyd from DC committed to USCjr. Had he even visited campus? I know they weren't mentioned as competition for UGA.

Haven’t been following recruiting as much lately but that seems...really surprising. Didn’t know USCjr was a factor for him

I definitely did not expect that. By all accts I thought we were in the lead for him. Obviously still a lot of time and some really talented backs other than him, but its not ideal for sure.

Any RB coach that can't sign a top RB every year to play behind Pittman's line ain't trying very hard. When Auburn fires Gus next November, Dell will probably pack his bags for a job on the plains with their new staff, and it's already showing in job performance IMO.

We'll see. Didn't last year and if Milton is our best option left, won't this year either IMO.

Out of all the terrible takes I’ve seen on our board in the last few months, this might be the worst of them all.

USC offered Lloyd Oct. 23rd, 2017. We were the 5th program to offer him, after Maryland, Rutgers, Kentucky, and Virginia Tech.

In early spring reports had come out that his interest in USC had grown, and he did in fact visit USC twice during this period, in early February, and then again in April for the Spring Game.

Reports had recently indicated that things had cooled between Lloyd and USC, and fans who followed recruiting had turned their attentions to Tank Bigsby (who seems to be a heavy lean for USC), and other RB prospects, perhaps Jahmyr Gibbs. So the commitment today from Lloyd was a bit of a surprise to everyone not on the USC FB staff, apparently.....

We got beat here on a prospect we really, really wanted. No other way to spin it.

Absolute must that we land two elite backs in this cycle given what we lose after the season and given the arse kicking we took on Emery and Sanders in 2019.

We'll see. I was the first to post on this board about the possibility of Chaney going to Tennessee (LINK ) or elsewhere, in early December. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see McGee bail before 2019 is out.

This is a shocker, but never count Dell out. Bigsby and Milton now?

Milton is priority 1 at this point.

Bigsby could come back into the picture, but he will also be committing to South Carolina, maybe as soon as the next two weeks.

I've never claimed to be "connected", just the opposite in fact. I'm just not afraid to challenge the internet groupthink. I know that non-sanctioned speech offends a lot of youngsters from the facebook/twitter generations, to the extent that they feel a need to shout it down, but your approval was never my goal.

If you think any or all of our coaches have an unassailable record, you can say it here and no skin off my back. I have my doubts and this is a forum for that too.
