Davis and Herrien both were sandbagged due to injury and qualifying issues, though. Seems like this McConkey kid has just been straight up overlooked due to geography.

Similar might be Tim Jennings or Thomas Davis

FWIW, Clemson was checking him out back in November. Given their successes with at least one unheralded white receiver in recent years, maybe McConkey is that dude.

Seen McConkey a couple of times as North Murray (Chatsworth) isn't too far from my house. He's legit, but as others have stated elsewhere, I'm concerned about his competition.

That being said, his highlight package is insane.

No matter where the kid ends up, if he doesn't put up this sign in his dorm room in college... he's dead to me.

The most recent ones are VIP, FWIW. You have to go to "Page 2" of the CB's.

I can't see the VIP ones to verify.

Percentage went from 38 to 41. After Kirby pulled his papers, A&M held the highest percentage until the last few days.

Can we possibly get Kirby a non-GA Tech colored copter?

Yeah. The two CB's we had this weekend? Man! Would love to land them both.

Grimes and Johnson, I think?

ETA
Put Williams in there at Safety, too.

Also had 4* Jordan Hancock in Athens this past weekend as well. Clemson offered him yesterday and they're likely the favorite.

Lots of good stuff in this interview of Brock from earlier today.

LINK

He name-drops Barrett Carter, Mario Williams, and Mims and says they're all good pals. Says he would love to have Mims and Micah Morris blocking for him.

Says he's waiting for a list of top targets from Kirby that they want him to work on recruiting.

I humbly submit my nomination for nickname upon arrival:

Brock Lobster (sure it's been used... but it feels a fine retread given the B-52's origin in Athens)
