Not sure how anyone could argue against this.

According to ESPN we have the #6 defense in the country against the run.

And are still the only team to not have given up a rushing TD.

If his team is as bad as they say it might give some a relief. But it could definitely bad if it's the other way

Would rather not watch our QB of the future get mauled on live tv, thanks. I have anxiety enough about breaking in a new QB in Tuscaloosa next year

It’ll be Bennet or Fromm IMO, not Beck

It’ll be Bennett or a grad transfer. Fromm is gone until he says publicly he isn’t

Carson Beck returning to form

Can he run? He's listed at 6'4.5 225. Put on 15lbs of muscle and I'm intrigued.

FWIW, Beck had 5 TD passes last night.

His completion percentage was less than 50% and he threw a pick in the 4th quarter, but Mandarin won the game.

Any recruits at the game last night? I wonder what they thought about the fans booing the team, from interviews it seems that players themselves were pissed about it.

If there were recruits who are UGA fans they were probably booing also. Play selection was moronic.

We weren’t booing the players. We were booing the coaches.

Well the players apparently didn’t get that memo. Swift seems extra butt hurt but I guess hearing boos when you have the entire team/staff on your back would rub you the wrong way.

Fair enough...the only players I was actually disappointed in last night were Jake and Charlie. Jake because he was holding the ball forever and a day or throwing the receivers right into the defensive players and Charlie because he whiffed on practically every attempted block including the one that got everyone’s favorite underutilized 4th string running back tackled for a loss.

Edit: not really recruiting related, so I’ll leave off.

Arik Gilbert is committing tomorrow at his All American jersey presentation. He was in Athens Saturday for the rain bowl. Top 5 of Bama, LSU, UGA, Clemson, and A&M.

He saw our 35 yard passing performance and made his decision.

yea, saw the 35 yds passing and was like "well, no need to think any deeper about UGA, I think I'm good now."
