After a 2 out error, Blaylock hits another BOMB to center! 9-2 Dawgs.
Then Connor Tate nearly killed the KSU pitcher with a liner back through the box, followed by a Sullivan double. Stranded there. 9-2 through 7.5.

Yea I can’t remember another 4 game series ever before.
I get it that if a team is flying from CA it makes sense to play as many games as possible but have we ever done one of these before?

Most of these west coast conferences dont have conference tournaments, and have less midweek games because of travel, so they play a lot more non-conference four game series.
Santa Clara is going to be a fun opponent. They are 5-0, with a midweek win against Stanford. They are a west coast team, so we are probably going to see a lot of small ball from them, and I believe they use openers(dont quote me on that).

Really good to see Ben Anderson getting recognition. Played ball with him in HS. He was on varsity as a freshman my senior year. Really smart kid, but he is an on-base machine. He will undoubtedly lead the team in hits.
