Looks like OP to Auburn tomorrow. That sucks

Honestly doesn't bother me. We're loaded at the position and we are already rocking 3 5*s and 5 4*s. We can get along just fine without OP in this class and that's not something I probably would have felt comfortable saying 2-3 years ago.

I agree with you. I am much more concerned about D lineman and defensive backs. Love keep to have OP, but if he doesn’t want to be a part of our class,so be it. We will be fine

I wouldn't waste too much energy worrying about DL in this class. I expect us to bring in an impressive haul there in this cycle.

OP is commiting to Auburn tomorrow, but this is far from over. He will be visiting UGA a few times over the next 7 months before early signing period. We have a lot of commits that will be in his ear all summer and on visits this fall. I would bet at this point it’s Auburn tomorrow and the Dawgs on the dotted line when it matters.

I mean, I definitely want him.
1. He has the potential to be an absolute stud at LB for us, even with the depth we’ve created.
2. I don’t want him at Auburn.
I’m just so ready for Kenyatta to get the hell outta Gwinnett.

Saw this on Twitter, this morning. Sobering and puts everything in perspective:

Its more losing OP to Auburn...anyone but a rival. This one sucks if it sticks. I'd rather him go pretty much anywhere else.

That’s why I’m not worried. This is Brenton Cox 2.0

What is this dude's deal? Is he just bitter that his kid isn't UGA-caliber and therefore doesn't want anyone going to UGA? Is that all it is? How does he have so much "power"/pull in this case?

He's pretty outspoken in his belief that kids should go away to college for a different experience. His public reasoning for that is that they can always move back to Atlanta, but he's a slimeball so there's likely more to it than that. It's not like Auburn, Knoxville, Tuscaloosa, and Columbia are a huge leap culturally.
ETA: To be fair, it looks like his kid is likely going to Texas, which will actually be a different experience.

I'm not clicking on that video but is that the one where he says "I could really hurt UGA's recruiting if I wanted too."? I really don't like that guy.

I don't know. I just saw the Aug 2017 date and the caption "Kenyatta Watson on Georgia's recruiting plight." Listening to foolishness is a waste of time.

What an idiot. I'll defer to Kirby Smart when it comes to recruiting.

Who cares about this guy? We keep winning and it wont matter what he says about UGA
