Clemson has the same conference record as Duke, and is sitting behind North Carolina State in the standings. Overrated is an understatement

That's such a smart move. I wish MLB would do this.

Big series against Kentucky starts tonight. Let's go Dawgs!

2 run home run from Sasser. 2-0 Dawgs in the bottom of the 2nd.

Welcome back K-Mac! 2 run bomb to left and it’s 4-0

Kristofak scares the crap out of me. He is incredibly wild.

He almost walked it off there. Edge of the warning track.

Bullpen has really struggled throwing strikes tonight.

I blame this blown save on Durden. Here he was talking about having a dominant closer again... THE HATE BUS CAN’T RUN WITHTOUT FUEL, GUYS.

frick. Also, our fans suck for clearing out so early. I thought this was supposed to be a sell out?

We seem to have the worst baseball fans in the SEC. It’s always like watching a golf tournament.

shite is embarrassing. Our field already sucks and is tiny. The fact that we can't keep it full is shameful.

Can’t believe we just pissed away that game

Welp, we got exposed tonight. Stricklin gambled the house on Schunk and got his doors blown the frick off. Would love an explanation why our defensive set with Schunk on the mound leaves our batting order without Sasser and Curry for the bottom of the 9th, arguably two of our best batters.
Nevermind that we threw 5 fricking pitchers tonight to UK's 2. Nevermind that they were 5 of our best pitchers. This series will be a sweep and all the momentum we regained against Clemson will be lost, resulting in a precipitous slide back to SEC mediocrity (which is still an improvement for the Stricklin era, but I digress).

Easy to blame Stricklin in retrospect but Schunk has been automatic all season. Hard to believe he walked 2 and gave up 3 runs in the 9th. It does suck that our bullpen is essentially tanked for tomorrow.

I don't blame Stricklin for Schunk's performance but is it really necessary to remove both Curry and Sasser from the lineup if you're going to throw him? I mean it left us with Sullivan who has barely hit this year for a whopping .214 BA and 2 RBIs in the Bottom of the 9th and 10th. You gamble everything on a pitching performance against one of the best hitting teams in the conference with no power in your lineup on the back end.
What really irks me is using 5 fricking pitchers. Easily could have left Smith in to start the 9th and bring Schunk on if things got dicey. Nevermind replacing Schunk with Kristofak and Kristofak with Locey in late innings when all momentum was lost and the lineup had lost its juice. It was a gamble that is probably going to cost us the series unless Webb or Hancock can turn in a solid 7 or 8 innings tomorrow and our bats take care of the back end.
