2018 Depth Chart questions

Anyone care to venture guess who might be our punter in 2018? Unless Marshall Long has improved a lot do y’all think we have a PWO punter added late? I also can’t even venture a guess who our fullback will be. Any ideas?

Redshirted Long for a reason. But we will see how Camarda can do as a freshman

This. Long with no action this year probably for the best. Additionally, Camarda is the #1 Punting recruit and the #4/5 PK recruit... with Hot Rod still on the roster for next season, Camarda likely has a faster track to the field at punter.

Brice Ramsey still has 2 more years of eligibility so probably Brice Ramsey.

Speaking of this question. Why have we talked about David Marvin’s blue shirt costing us a scholly/signee next year when he’s on his way out this year? Did we give him a scholly this year (wasted in every way imaginable) that forward counts against next years cap? Is that what a blue shirt is? If so, seems a pretty stupid way to cost yourself a spot in the next years recruiting class.

The scholarship hit is this year, the 'initial counter' hit is for next year's class (25 signee limit).
I think it was hedging against Rod transferring and/or getting injured. It's not ideal, but we were going to be in a world of hurt if either happened.
