My preference for 2015 is to see Bauta at QB with the offense based primarily on the run and short pass game with just enough deep balls to keep defenses honest. Out backs and tight ends are so good that we should be able to march down field and score slowly. Those long drives kill a defense.

First he does not know the system and would have to learn it.
He would be 3 months behind the other guys....remember, we have a new system. Rookie QBs in the NFL happen all the time and we have a coach that knows how to teach them.

Secondly his record is not against SEC quality teams for the most part. Some of the schools Notre Dame has played are almost unknown
What's the combined record of Ramsey, Bauta and Park against ANY competition......

Where did people think Brown had silently committed? He told the AJC in an interview that it was UGA, although that comes as no surprise since he has publicly listed the Bulldogs as his leader. “Somebody was saying how they hard that I had secretly committed to Georgia,” Brown told the AJC. “But my recruitment is still all the way open
Hard hitting stuff AJC

AU and TENN are our biggest competition with Brown

Personally, I want Brown more than Rochester.

That's like saying Bruce Vilanch and Harvey Fierstein ar Usain Bolt's biggest competition in a race. Not that they cannot recruit, but we have built (and continue to build) a huge lead for Brown. I have no doubt that he'll end up a good guy.

Would you rather be feared or respected?
The answer is, both.

I want people to fear how much they respect us.

Like FSU, usc, Stanford, Michigan, Michigan state, and co. That silly ND and their weak national scheduling.
In fairness, Michigan hasn't been all that great last few years, and they got beat by FSU, Stanford and Louisville last year. (They didn't play Michigan State last season) Anybody at all that had a decent team beat them. They haven't beaten a good team in several years.
That said...our biggest worry about Brice Ramsey is his penchant to turn the ball over...the same thing that is the weakness of Golson. I have to admit, I really don't know if Golson would be a good get for us or not. He would add an element of speed to the QB position and he seems pretty good at extending plays. But he turns the ball over an awful lot. I would hate to alienate the other players on the team for Golson. Golson DOES have experience in big games, though, so there's that.

True enough, but wasn't ND's defense their saving grace in 2012?
Posted on 5/10/15 at 2:22 pm to VoxDawg
You mean the D that Bama exposed?
Posted on 5/10/15 at 4:33 pm to Porter Osborne Jr
The very one. That's my point. It wasn't Gholson's brilliance under center that put them in the BCS MNCG, but a defense that truly left a lot to be desired when the chips were down.

North Carolina has to hate us.

Posted on 5/10/15 at 6:50 pm to CBizWRECKIN
Why? Because we were founded before them, actually make our athletes go to class, and steal every worthwhile player of talent from that state?

Because they're liberal hippies.
