Mykelle McDaniel released his top 5 and had a very familiar school to us listed as his top choice... The Dawgs.

We're offering a ton of kids but if you notice most are OOS. Great strategy IMO, it's what other schools have used against us offering Ga kids left & right... We have to be selective in state (can't piss off the HS coaches) & honor our offers...
Sale is impressive, using his La/Miss connections to get UGA out there as a 1st or early offer for a lotta these kids. As we've seen the last coupla years, how soon you offer is important to a lotta these kids...

Folks have been challenging UGA to lock down the state. They just didn't say which version.
Time to pay up, motherfrickers.

Georgia is filling out those newly created support staff positions in the football program.
The school has posted six new hires on its athletics website.
"On the support staff, some of the additions is just to bless these young men and help them take care of business on a day-to-day basis,” Georgia head coach Mark Richt said earlier this month on national signing day. “Some of it is just positions that we've had in the past that we've just amped up a little bit. That's really all there is to it."
Here’s a rundown of new support staffers:
--Aaron Hill. Offensive quality control assistant. He served as director of high school relations and assistant strength coach at Marshall and was a graduate assistant for three years for the Thundering Herd. He played offensive line at LaGrange College. He follows new director of recruiting Todd Hartley from Marshall.
--Steve Shimko. Offensive graduate assistant. Served as director of player personnel at Western Michigan last year. He played quarterback at Rutgers and later served as player development coach there.
--Chris Kragthorpe. Offensive graduate assistant. The son of former Tulsa and Louisville head coach Steve Kragthorpe, now an LSU staff member. Chris worked as a graduate assistant at LSU, working with the offensive line. He played football at Wheaton (Ill.) College.
--Carter Blount. Special teams quality control. Cornerbacks coach at Birmingham-Southern in 2014 after serving as a defensive graduate assistant at South Alabama in 2013 when current Georgia outside linebackers coach Kevin Sherrer was defensive coordinator. He was a special teams intern in 2009 and strength intern in 2008 at Alabama.
--Luke Moore. Assistant player personnel coordinator. He previously worked with the recruiting office for the Bulldogs and was an offensive analyst at Samford and student assistant at Alabama.
--Luke Abdulai. Assistant recruiting operations coordinator. He was previously a Georgia strength and conditioning student manager and a football recruiting specialist for the Bulldogs and worked with the Illinois football program.

Anyone else paying attention to LSU right now? They are taking every damn CB on the market! They just landed the consensus #1 CB and are in the lead for Trayvon Mullen, Khalil Ladler and JoeJaun Williams. Damn
The UGA spin? This is helps us a lot with Chad Clay and Dylan Singleton (I believe he is Louisiana native). It also may help us make up some ground on Ladler, who might see the talent ahead of him and decide to look elsewhere.

Sounds like Clay, Hardman, and Brown should all be Dawgs. If we can flip Robertson from Bama, that's a fricking sweet haul at CB/WR

Tennessee is going to be a pain in the arse when it comes to Mecole. I think he’d make a hell of 2-way player

Tennessee is always going to be a pain in the arse, but unless the guy is a legacy then we should win those battles head to head every time. Our staff is just top to bottom better than theirs and we are on a major upswing whereas they're kind of in put up or shut up mode. I think if UTk fails to make a splash this season then it's no contest. They can only preach PT to guys on the recruiting trail for so long before the coaches have to start answering for lack of results.
