For anyone interested, you can now sign up for Dawgs247 free until football season starts.

Fair warning: that's why I signed up and am now paying $10 a month, if that's what you're trying to avoid

How come if it's free until then, why does it still ask for billing information?

That's how free trials work. They do that so they can start billing you as soon as the trial's over. You'd have to remember to cancel your account to avoid that.

This. Lots of people are lazy and won't ever stay on top of it, so their free trial turns into a subscription. I'm sure they're very clear about that when you sign up for the trial.

Doesn't MLB.tv block out Braves games if you live in the metro area? Although, there are ways around it.

It does. It blocks the games if you're anywhere near the area.

I'm going to sign up for the trial, but I read the fine print so be advised

If you sign up for a free trial, you must cancel 24 hours prior to the end of your free trial to avoid automatic charges associated with beginning your Subscription. You may cancel a free trial or elect not to renew a Subscription by emailing support@247sports.com, which is staffed between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM (CT) Monday - Friday.

Yeah, catching those bastards to cancel is a trick in and of itself. Though if you do want to keep the subscription but for a cheaper price, they do usually offer it to you for cheap just to keep you from cancelling.

Are you sure? Why would MLB.tv blackout in that area? It's all still under the MLB umbrella?

So that you'll go to the game instead of sitting at home on your arse watching it.

That seems gay. I feel like I have used MLB.tv in ATL though...

There's a way around it. I looked into before the season and saw the blackout area in the small print.

Can't you route your IP through somewhere on the West Coast and get around that for Braves coverage?
