No one, Losing Carson sucks

I mean, there are many worse positions for us to lose a commit though. ILB, DB, OL, DT would all hurt more than RB. We'll just take 2 in 2016, not a class or depth killer by any stretch.

True but it means Douglas is only an injury away from meaningful playing time. We have 2 elite guys then an injured guy and Douglas. After the attrition we could have really used Carson as insurance policy next year.

Not a class killer, but I have a sneaking suspicion we will need at least 3 solid RBs to make it through the season. Even with Chubb and Michel healthy we were still playing Douglas last season. Replacing him with Carson would have been awesome.

Hopefully Marshall and/or Turman can provide that depth now.

Not convinced Marshall will ever really be ready again. Hope he is, but I have my doubts.

I really think Turman could provide some serious help as a sledgehammer type back, if he could stay healthy, but there has been zero proof that he can to this point, so ...

He's had plenty of meaningful minutes the last 2 years and has done very well when called upon.

I believe reports during the bowl game practices were that Marshall was looking pretty good. Personally I felt like his return was rushed and he should have redshirted and sat the year out.

Turman was a starter for four years in high school. He is the all time rushing leader at Boone and was only the 2nd player in the history of that league to rush for over 4000 yards ( 4,867 yards on 710 carries, 6.85 ypc, with 55 touchdowns). The fact that he had toe surgery and missed his redshirt freshman season at UGA doesn't suddenly mean that he can't take contact.

I really do hate it when people make assumptions on players.

We're not at practice and in the weight room with these guys. We don't know what's going on at all. Who's to say that Marshall won't be back better than ever?

There's no way of knowing.

How comes it feels a little like UGA is shiteing the bed a bit in the home stretch?

I mean seriously....forget Alabama...but if elite talent is lined up for programs like Southern Cal, Clemson (???), and FSU, how come Georgia has dropped out of the top 5 and could drop further if there are any more negative "surprises."

FSU has five 5-star guys committed right now.

@GabeThaGreat: UGA is trying hard land 4star WR Terrell Chatman. Only means one thing. They know they’ve lost another commitment.

Does this idiot not realize we lost a receiver recently. I question the education AU is giving these guys

Tomorrow and Wednesday will be bananas. I think we'll be paying attention to the developments regarding each of these guys:

Darius Slayton
Terry Godwin
Roquan Smith
Pat Allen
Rico McGraw
DeAndre Baker
Deontai Williams
Nick Buchanan
Daquan Hawkins
Kirby Choates
Terrell Chatman

Who am I missing?

SO! Any signing day surprises a la Isaiah McKenzie this year?

I could use one of those.
