To be honest, I don’t think he was ever a lock. I think UGA was in a good position when they offered and an even better position when he visited. I knew Ohio State was a player, but I didn’t realize there was a Notre Dame family tie. As for UNC, I had absolutely no clue. Lilly is one of the better recruiters in the nation, so I expect UGA to stay in the race. The unfortunate part is I think he wants to commit this summer, so time is not our friend.
All I know is he is an impressive TE, with HUGE upside. Easy to say for a kid that is 6’6 250lb, but he runs excellent routes and plays the ball like a basketball player boxing out on a rebound. He looks like young Gronk, and I HATE making NFL comparisons. His potential is through the roof, he’ll be a top 50 player by signing day

It'll be tough to beat ND for Clark, but Mike Farrell is an idiot, so I wouldn't put too much stock in what he says.

A poster in 247 who knows his insider stuff seems to think that Saturday was a good day for UGA, so I am guessing at least some of the guys visiting are looking pretty good for UGA right now.

Someone to look out for. One of my buddies that also goes to LaGrange. Probably the best player to play for us since Tray Blackmon. Mon Denson, RB/S 2015, I played with Mon for 3 years and he is unreal. Dream school is UGA and would commit the second he got the offer, Lily was at LHS the other day recruiting him so that may not be far away. Some experts on 247 believe he could jump to a high 4 star once season begins. His highlight is definitely worth a look.

REALLY like him a RB. Good first step explosiveness..reads his blocks well. Has real good speed, but not great. (Or so it appears) Looks like he is developing pretty good power.
When on defense he hits with authority, but doesn't wrap up. Has good awareness about where he is on the field.

Oh! So he CAN run fast? Always hard to tell from film...he just didn't seem to be pulling away from pursuers. He DID seem to get a great first step, though. Got any idea what his 40 is?

So the Jovon Robinson thread on the SEC Recruiting board got me curious. They don't really know diddly about Georgia recruiting or our RB depth with Douglas, Green, Michel, Turman and Chubb but is there a chance of UGA landing Robinson?
