Trent Thompson says not to worry about him flipping and that this will be the best class ever at UGA

If I get to feeling better, I'm gonna go to his game Friday and get y'all some action shots of him destroying our backfield.

Enforcing my hope that we get Sweat to come on his OV for the Auburn game, the guest list is INSANE so far and this is the atmosphere he needs to be in Athens for, not Vandy.

Big Country there to catch the eyes and ears of everyone else

Lavonta Taylor- #1 CB in the '16 class and also from Virginia which might help with Sweat, or Sweat could eventually influence Taylor to us when/if Sweat becomes a dawg

Nate Craig- #1 WR in the '16 class currently committed to AUB, but being pursued very hard by Eason and Cleveland. Beating Auburn in Athens while he is there might be all it takes with Eason pushing him too.

Tim Irvin- #2 APB in the '15 class from Florida. Could be something to this if he wants to play where the best RBs go. Not sure because I didn't think we would take another RB in this class.

Holyfield- #6 RB in the '16 class and I think will rise from there. This might end it for him.

Pat Allen- It will be good to get him back and make sure he is all Dawg, but I am not worried here. Being around Cleveland will make him realize where is the best place to go.

I'm sure this list will keep growing with more and more studs but these are just the bee's knees. I want Eason to make it too if possible for him. That would make a huge difference. I guess guys like Ledbetter, RIvers, and Natrez may make it. Manac would be another good one to have there. I think he will be a good recruiter for his class too. If we get McFadden and Slayton by then, I would really like both of them there.

If you guys know of anyone else, please add to the list

Jake Rowe CB Abernathy to Vols tells me all I need to know. It will suck to lose a player at a position of need, especially one as talented as Micah.

Butch Jones has a worse record in two years than Dooley did at this point. If they can see past that and find something decent about that program then I guess best of luck to him.

how do you pass up coming in and playing as a true freshman at UGA vs playing as a true freshman for the dumpster fire UTk? I get that Butch sold them on "building a legacy"....but shite, you can do that at UGA too. Its not like we're winning championships left and right.

Butch also coached his brother at Cincy so there's family familiarity.

How in the hell are we losing recruits, and in a position of obvious need, to the fricking Vols and their Gomer Pile looking coach? If we are going to be an elite defense in the coming years, we need some damn CBs that are good and don't do drugs/steal....is that so hard to ask?

But seriously, the Vols? Really? My god.

I can understand the agitation about losing a CB to someone like the Vols. Or just losing a CB period right now because of the opportunities for playing time.

I think we'll be just fine. Sure, we may not get an EE we want, or some recruit that will 'shut it down' right now. But come February Pruitt will have plenty of time to scour and recruit and possibly flip some.
