Nope. Just keeping things open so coaches will come by and see his teammates.

Thompson's recruitment reminds me of Ray Drew's.

Those in the know...are we going to hold on to Godwin or is he going to flip?
Alabama's recruiting class is just sick...as it is every year now it seems...one could almost assume if they were allowed to recruit a 2nd class consisting of 2nd stringers that it would probably be in the top 5.....honestly, it's becoming comical...I'm assuming we might get the Harris kid from Tenn at TE that had some interest in us now that Alabama got a higher ranked kid out of Missouri..

I don't say this often about guys we throw out offers too because the coaches must like something about them but his tape and everything I seen on the video was underwhelming and the clapping every time annoys me.
Clearly we were not watching the same film. He appears to have some GREAT ball skills and instincts. Could improve his hands some, but tons of PBUs, which I'll take.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he must have been.

Cece Jefferson also said he knows where he's going and is about 85% sure that won't change. #Noles #Gators #Bama
That is because he is about 85% percent hopeful that Muschamp isn't getting fired.

From what I've heard, we're fine. He's taking his visits early and just having fun hanging out with other prospects at different schools. If he's still running around in the late fall, then you can start to sweat.

Don't think Bama will have room in the end for Godwin
Hentges committing gives Bama 16 in this class, so 9 more till 25, likely looking like Bama takes 26
How I see Bama's class position wise here on out
1 QB
2 more TE's
at least 2 more OL (need OTs and Warmack possible flip candidate)
2 more DTs (Payne)
Keaton Anderson as a LB/ATH
1 more S and maybe 1 more CB
That would fill the class

Are those numbers counting Ledbetter or have y'all written him off already?
Posted on 5/26/14 at 9:01 am to tylerdurden24
He's "officially in" the class is all I can say for now
but that is also why I said 2 DL, hopefully DTs
Mekhi seems to be working on him but I don't have confidence in keeping him tbh
We will see

How do y'all feel about Ledbetter?

Rusty Mansell put out a note this morning that he feels Ledbetter is the most likely that UGA flips. Apparently Rusty thinks that Ledbetter is closer with Natchrez Patrick and Chauncey Rivers than other recruits; but as we all know, kids "talking" about playing together, can be just that. "Talk"

I think UGA has a better shot at Warmack, especially considering need, but AU is in that convo to and has played the "Lester Cotton is a monster and JC Hass is really good, you'll see no PT" angle to him, not sure what UGA's depth looks like at C
But Bama's DL is absolutely STACKED right now so its hard I'm sure for JL to see a possibility of PT in his first 2 years at Bama

UGA's DL could end up being the same way, depending on how some of our young guys play out (though Pruitt is all about rotating the line so it may not matter).
As for Warmack, UGA is supposedly open at Center behind Senior David Andrews. Brandon Kublanow (Tyron Jones old Walton teammate) was long considered to be the favorite for his backup but he may not have the opportunity next year if he steps up and takes one of the starting Guard spots this Fall.

If anyone flips Warmack, it'll be us, but I don't think it happens. We've not got a lot of room for OL this year and I'd rather fill them with the MD guys and Minshew. There should be no worries regarding Auburn though, IMO.
JL will flip, it is just a matter of time. Things feel like they've cooled at the moment, but if Rivers is transferring to Tucker this season like has been talked about, the only thing left is making it official.

They definitely appear to have more depth than we do right now and a lot of our guys are JUCOs too, so I think there is clearly more playing time here. Though I don't think our DL will be far behind Bama's in performance if it is at all because we've got some top notch coaching and developing there now with Rocker. Not implying that Bama doesn't, just saying that the difference in a 5* and a high 3* to a great coach/developer is negligible by the time they're juniors.
I believe Cardiello is firmly in the hunt to be the Center and I really expect him to be the one spelling Andrews this season. Not sure how good or not he'll be though, he is a Buford kid and they are pretty hit or miss. Warmack would be an upgrade, but unless we are processing some guys, I don't see how we can fit him in.
