Based on the headline below, it looks like CeCe, Ledbetter, Ben Cleveland and Mineshaw will making trips to Athens in the next few days.

Anyone with a 247 subscription want to provide some more nuggets?

The only specific visits mentioned are Christian Kirk on Monday and Michael Chigbu in the next few weeks.

Juwan Taylor got an offer from LSU, but UGA still leads.

I don't say this often about guys we throw out offers too because the coaches must like something about them but his tape and everything I seen on the video was underwhelming and the clapping every time annoys me.

Take a look at the Rivals 100 and look at how many guys we're in for right now. I know, rivals isn't as good as 247 but still...

We could possibly get 5 of the top 20 if we can work on Edoga and Sweat. I feel real good about 3 of the top 20 with Thompson, Godwin, and Roundtree.

On that list, other than the 3 commits, I'm optimistic about UGA getting Thompson, Roundtree, Roquan, Allen, and flipping Ledbetter.

Then we also have a decent shot at Sweat and a puncher's chance at flipping Edoga.

I hate to be NegaDawg but I think we have as much of a change at flipping Edoga as we did with BAW this past year. He said he wants to major in aeronautics engineering and I don't believe we have that program soooo it will depend on how much academics and that major mean to him.

Is this kid a genius or something? Is this something that he says he wants to major in now but doesn't know what it will take to actually complete this major? Or is he actually capable of balancing football and a BRUTAL school schedule?

Good question. I have no idea but he was quoted as saying it.

He said we don't have it but we "build" to it and all his other schools he was considering did soooo...who knows.

Lorenzo Carter wanted to do that major too. Just saying

I don't think we have a good shot at Edoga but as long as he allows UGA to recruit him, the door is open.

Should we worry?

from Auburn Board

"Georgia is the home school, home state, first school to offer me, first school to really show me some love,” Thompson said. “Somebody could change that. Auburn in stepping in more. They’ve been sending love. They’ve been talking to my mom more. And Clemson, they’re showing a lot of love.”

Thompson added, “There’s more schools — Florida State, Bama, Florida — but those are the top three right now.”

Georgia has been the leader for quite some time, and Thompson is extremely close with Dawgs offensive coordinator Mike Bobo.

“It just feels different up there,” Thompson said of Athens, Ga. “I get a different feeling at each school I go to, but when I get to Georgia it just puts a smile on my face. It feels like home.”

According to Thompson, though, Auburn is making a run.

“They’re close … they’re close,” Thompson said. "They really are. Every time I go up they show me a better time. I always have a good time. I’m not going to make a hasty decision. I know Coach [Rodney] Garner puts people in the league and I like that.”

Auburn has been to Westover twice this spring. Garner and defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson have stopped by, Thompson said. Additionally, he talks a lot with assistant Scott Fountain, his area recruiter.

Auburn’s signature recruiting event, Big Cat Weekend, is May 31. Thompson said he doesn’t yet know if he will attend it.

"They’re going to give me the heads up this week — my mom and my coach are," Thompson said.

Even if Thompson doesn’t attend BCW, he said, “You know I’m going to get up to Auburn” this summer.
