Some other staffs have been in Carter's ear telling him that UGA is not on par academically as some of the other top programs in the SEC; our staff showed he and his family around Athens and set the record straight.

Can you flesh that out a little? Other people telling his family that UGA has shitty academics and he will receive a poor education?

Essentially, yes. His family admitted that the trip opened their eyes in regards to UGA academics and was unexpected due to what some other programs had told them. This isn't the first recruit to be told such, either.

Who else could it be beside Vandy and UF?

D,JD. You can make a lot of truthful digs at UGA. But no SEC school short of Vandy can make an academic claim. So far off base it would be considered a lie in polite company.

If there's one decent thing Michael fricking Adams has done for UGA athletics, it's make academics into a selling point for recruits.

Alabama et al can choke on a dick.

You'd think a simple Google search would allow his family to see how competitive some of our majors are on a national level. Besides, if he's going to major in a "football major" does academic ranking really matter?

Eh, Queen got a commit-able offer last week when he visited Bama.

Wow... big news. Didn't realize it was commitable. That kid is getting some big offers. Alabama, Auburn, and tomorrow Tenn. I think it comes down to Auburn, Tenn., or us if we want him.

I'm going to just assume Wynn has already announced a commitment to the coaches but is waiting to make a public announcement at some point

Darrel Williams is no longer a take, I don't think.

Maybe Josh Malone at WR, not sure on that.

Nolan Kelleher may be favoring Clemson, he also might not be a take with Wynn still out there and Edwards committed.

We lead for Lamont Gaillard, DL, and tied at the top for Elisha Shaw

Darrion Owens will play OLB for us, maybe ILB

A recruit that recently committed to Clemson made the same reference. He was also considering UGA but committed to Clemson because of their strong academics.

If a recruit commits to a Stanford, Vanderbilt, UVA, Duke, Northwestern, or the like, they can legitimately claim academics was the deciding factor in their decision. The same cannot be said about Alabama or Clemson.

Does anyone have a video of Chubb's commitment yet?
