Well, I had read somethings where he was high on UGA and we were the offer he was waiting on. 247 has him to UGA.
All of that is true. We are his dream school. That being said that doesn't necessarily mean he picks us.

True. If I remember correctly his senior tape is what made us come on so late, right?

I'm not sure. I think it was his grade issues began to clear up and we found out we really really needed safeties. Plus I think more people began to find out about him and his school and they had a very good season this year, mainly because of him.

FYI I know one of the white people in that pic.
Heard some stuff on Lorenzo today. I only have one person that I count as a solid, trustworthy source that works inside BM (I'm not counting dude in the picture because we're not that close and don't really talk), and this WAS NOT from him so put as much or as little stock in it as you want.
But I talked to a guy today who is involved with Norcross and knows the Carter family well. He told me zo might go to UGA, but wouldn't be shocked in the least bit if he went to FSU either. Said mom loves UGA and wants him there, and dad loves Muschamp and UF. He said the dad is big on position coach consistency and wasn't real wild that we just lost our entire D staff. He also said Kelly the new DC at FSU was the first person to offer him (when kelly was at tech) and that was a big thing for him. He also said lorenzo's favorite school for years that he really wanted to go to is miami, but his dad nipped that in the bud immediately.
Sooo I don't know how much stock to put into anything, but this norcross dude was really feeling FSU. I know our side has felt real good about lorenzo for a while, and based on all the articles and reports out there it does look like we're in good shape. Again, just some guy I met today for the first time so take that with some salt.

he must have a lot of faith that they will turn it around this year bc if he has another bad year he is gone

The guy didn't say UF was a player at all. Another thing I forgot to mention was that dad wants zo to play for a title contender, which is another check in FSU's favor (not talking shite about us, I'm just saying. Last season and all..). When I said 'well that should definitely rule out muschamp' to the guy he was like 'true, plus another year like next and he might not even be there anymore'.
So UF is apparently not on the radar. I know LSU thinks they're in it so I asked the guy about LSU and he didn't really say but a few words. From what he said it's basically down to us and FSU and should come down to the wire. But ultimately, this guy isn't lorenzo or his parents so he might not know shite.

At some point, kids need to realize that THEY are the ones that make their team title contenders or not. FSU may have had a leg up being in the ACC in the past, but with the playoff, every team is going to have to win at least 2 big time games to be proclaimed the champion. Also with only 4 teams selected either FSU better hope that some opponents step or they won't be able to lose any to get a a shot. The other thing to consider is that EVERYTHING came together for FSU this year- while the QB was in his first year starting, everyone else was the product of a stretch of years with great recruiting , but only above average results. Sure, they will still recruit well, but I think a whole bunch of experience is headed out the door.
I really thought that 2013 was finally going to bring it together for UGA, but injuries on the best side of the ball pretty much squashed that hope. I am not sure about 2014, but I think by 2015 , things could be humming along VERY nicely for UGA.
