UGA hasn't contacted him very much. Other receivers have moved ahead of him on the board.

Seen on twitter moments ago. To interpret for the non twitter users: Krenwick Sanders was asked if it was his decision to de-commit from UGA and his response was that it was not his decision.

Looks as though the coaching staff may have severed the ties with him. Maybe they feel good about another WR on their board....

ETA: ANNNNND now I feel like a doofus who cannot type fast enough.

Frick all of you and your fast typing hands!

The Sanders rumors have been around a coupla months. Pretty sure we've encouraged him to look around...

Now we are Nick Saban, less the titles.

Not really. He hasn't visited UGA since last summer, but has found time to visit FSU 3+ times. If you want to be considered a commitment, you need to act like it. He isn't a good enough player to do that and not risk giving up his spot. I think UGA just got sick of it as much as anything.

He was clearly looking around, leaving UGA no choice but to do their own looking. Unfortunately for him, UGA found receivers that are better than he is.

He isn't a take or even being actively recruited by FSU anymore. He'll end up at a MSU, UK, or something like that.

You are one negative fan. I feel like if we won the the National Championship you would say something like "It's only one title bama has three" Seriosuly whats your beef with UGA?

I don't see what the big deal is with pulling an offer. The school isn't running a charity; it's a give and take situation. Besides, if a kid can decommit from a school I don't see why a school can't do the same.

nick saban cuts players after they get on campus, our situation is nowhere near comparable, the kid didnt act commited so we parted ways. if richt was like saban ray drew would have been medical redshirted

seriously saban basically has 1 extra recruiting class every 3-4 yrs, he's a great coach but i'd love to see how many championships he would have without oversigning

UT gets the JUCO WR from Cali.(He's a good one). That gives them 4WR's. Sounds like we might be in good shape for Josh Malone....

Does this put us in the drivers seat, AU??

Ray Drew should've taken a redshirt anyways in my opinion.

Regarding Malone, things have been trending up for UGA for the last few weeks. Don’t get me wrong, UT is still a major player, but I think UGA is in great shape to land him.

ESPN’s Radi and Kipp predict (as of today) who will take the final 6 spots, what do you think?

quote:

Radi:
Lamont Gaillard
Keyon Brown
Christian Miller
Elisha Shaw
Kenderius Webster
Cortez McDowell

quote:

Kipp:
Lamont Gaillard
Keyon Brown
Christian Miller
Elisha Shaw
Kenderius Webster
Raekwon McMillan

FWIW, Kipp is really plugged in as far as predictions. We still have 7 months to go, but interesting nonetheless.

Well, I think we have more than 6 spots left based on what Lowndes has said. The Raekwon pick is interesting but I could see us getting him in the end because of how pro-UGA his family is. I think we get Malone in the end. I also think we have a good chance at Carter and Evans, but I wouldn't predict either of them to us at this point either.

I'm not so sure about Webster anymore...kid seems infatuated with Ole Miss right now. If they have the wheels fall off this season, then I guess he might realize what he's getting himself into out there, but I think we turn up the heat on DJ Smith for our last DB spot.

I'd be happier than hell with McDowell but I just don't see it.

Could you imagine the hell our front 7 could wreak if landed Gaillard, McMillan, and Carter (3 five stars) along with Miller and Shaw (2 borderline 5 five stars)? It might not happen, but it's a definite possibility.
