After watching that I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that he is recovering pretty nicely and should be good to go this season

Apparently Tramel terry should be good to go day 1 of practice, too.

I was told he is using a medical redshirt, no chance in Satan's Holy Hell that he plays in 2013. What have you heard?

From people close to the team, they say he has been rehabbing incredibly well and has been running sprint drills.
I'd be surprised if he redshirts.

This needs more discussion and this isn't the tread to do it in. Stand by.

Out of curiosity, Dawg, would you have signed Hershel Walker from a "weak" region in the smallest classification Georgia has?
I hope you aren't seriously comparing Watson to Herschel out of high school.
To answer your question...Herschel was obviously a transcendent talent at TB. Watson is nothing more than just another very good HS QB. He isn't going to be the next Cam Newton.

I wouldn't speak so soon...

You are absolutely correct about Herschel. But a LOT of people didn't think so at the time he came out of High School. Hey, the point i am trying to make is you have to trust the scouts and film you have on a player. Some great players come out of regions that are considered weak, and some bad players come out of regions considered strong. I think Georgia is quite content with what they have in quarterbacks this year, but if they decide to go after Watson, I will back that decision, too. You can NEVER have too much depth at any position.

Jmo, but I just don't see Georgia changing their offense to benefit what Watson has to offer. If we ran some variation of the spread then yes by all means go after him. But with the offense we run I think we should be throwing all of our attention at one of the two Cali Qb's for next year.

They changed the Offense for Shockley.

UGA isn't taking Watson, so no use worrying about it. There's no room for 2 QBs in this class; we almost didn't take any.
