Tim Kimbrough (Indianapolis, Ind), one of the top Inside Linebacker prospects in the nation, will be visiting Athens for the 2nd time on July 20th. Kid would be a great addition to our ILB class. A lot of talk that we're the team to beat and the fact that he's visiting again is very encouraging. Tennessee and Ohio St will be tough competition if they offer, though.
This is big because Rolin and Bryant have cooled on UGA a good deal.

yep, his parents went there, too.
If it comes down to Rolin or Kimbrough, though, give me Kimbrough every day of the week.

Wisconsin is the main school right now that's offered correct?

Indiana is actually more of a player for him than Wisconsin at this point; he has a good relationship with their LB coach apparently. UGA (offer), IU (offer), and tOSU (no offer) look to be his top 3 right now.

A non-UGA admin on 247 did say he thought we were the team to beat right now for Kimbrough. Can't be a bad thing

Some good news on RN. He will be on campus for Dawg Night. And while he is a long shot, the following article is encouraging:
LOGANVILLE, Ga. -- Last Thursday, Mark Richt announced that Daryl Jones had joined the Bulldogs’ staff as the new director of on-campus recruiting. The news spread quickly, especially to the nation’s No. 1 recruit.
“I just heard the news that he went to Georgia from a college coach today,” said Robert Nkemdiche (Loganville, Ga./Grayson). “He and I were so close, and now he is at Georgia doing his thing.”
When Jones was at Grayson High School, he coached Nkemdiche. The five-star defensive end remembers Jones well.
“I love that dude, and we had a really good relationship,” Nkemdiche said. “He used to coach me when I was a freshman and he was so hyper. Now he is at Georgia, so I know when I go up there he is going to make me like Georgia even more because I like him a lot.”
Those words should excite the coaching staff at Georgia, which is among Nkemdiche's top six schools, along with Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Texas. The Under Armour All-American says he has no leader among those six and that he will take more visits -- to LSU, Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi State -- before he makes a decision.

According to LHB, there is some "big time" recruiting news coming out tomorrow. Said it was bigger than Langley or Kublanow; I'm not going to hold my breath, though.

Lot of speculation on LHB that D. Henry will decommit and open it back up with his leaders as Bama and UGA.
Posted on 5/22/12 at 2:47 pm to tylerdurden24
I've said it before, if we get him back at Dawg Night then I think we lock him up.
Posted on 5/22/12 at 2:49 pm to tylerdurden24
With what he is saying recently I kind of expect him to commit when he visits in June.
Posted on 5/22/12 at 2:54 pm to TreyAnastasio
I don't think he does before formally decomitting from UGA first. I think the best Bama can ask for is he decommits after his Bama visit, visits UGA for Dawgnight, then doesn't recommit to UGA that night. If he decommits and Dagwnight doesn't sway him back into the fold, then I'd say he's pretty close to a lost cause for us
