Last I read was that him leaving for the Supplemental Draft was a knee-jerk reaction and that he's staying regardless of the punishment...then again, depending on how the appeal went (does anybody when it occurred/occurs?), he might have changed his stance.

Per Chad Simmons, Kamara has yet to determine which spring game he goes to this weekend between UGA and Bama. Interesting, I thought he was definitely going to Bama.
And from everything I've read on various sites (don't quote me on this), Langley is merely playing the game, and playing Bama hard. Think Ray Drew.

Yeah, Langley has been a Dawg fan his entire life and we will likely pick him up this weekend. I think we've been the leader, at least privately, through out the whole thing.

There's so much in your post that I disagree with that'd it would be futile for me to responde to. Majority of it is just repeating the UGA company line, that if said enough will become true.
Anyways, I also feel like Langley is playing us. Too much of what he says draws red flags.

Chad had already started working and working hard for us. He was recruiting kids to go to UGA as recently as last week. Then there was a snag with his background paperwork (I don't know the details, but there was something that we didn't like) so we had to part ways. Rusty Mansell is now the guy most likely to get the job from what I hear.

Will there be any backlash from Simmons not getting the job seeing as how he basically had it and we took it away due to an unforeseen circumstance?

DOubt it. Chad has always been a sort of pro-UGA guy (at least he has always been favorable toward us). If something didnt check out with his resume, we had to make that decision. Not our fault

Somebody on LHB yesterday said Chad didn't get the job due to NCAA compliance issues early in his recruiting career. No idea if that's true or not
