I'm going off the assumption Geathers leaves, Johnson is going to miss a beat while rehabbing (partial tear or not, the surgery is the same; they deconstruct the ligament then reconstruct it as though it were a full tear), and though Bailey has had a lot of good reviews, he has yet to play.
Just too many variables. In a perfect world, yeah I'd say we end up alright.

Chris Mayes and Kennar Johnson signed with UGA today. Set to enroll in Jan.

Maybe I'm being too Disney but I don't see Geathers going early....his brothers are making plenty of dough and he'd really benefit from another year and finally being a starter. I don't see him being anything higher than a 4th rounder this year.

247 is reporting that Atkins says he will be enrolling in January so apparently his test scores are in order. They haven't said anything on Floyd yet but since he just needs to pass a class, they're expecting him to be okay.

i've seen the longs, houston, bell, all of the OL several times feasting like they'd never eaten before at ECV and other places. also saw them all walking into the smoke shop on baxter once, that was nice. right after crows arrest too.

I used to get my pipe tobacco at the smoke shop on the corner of College and clayton (not sure if it's still there)...folks don't always use them for water bongs and one hitters.

M Adams and Rodney Garner have bonded over their mutual hatred of the Georgia Tech style of offense after Adams went down because of a chop block by ECI. His Mom likes Garner too, which is very important. Adams official visit to us is Jan 25, the last one he has scheduled but he thinks he will take his fifth to either UNC or Ole Miss. One very important thing to him is coach stability. All the Auburn coaches are gone so they're out of the picture, and one of Bama's coaches left but at Georgia we have stability and that means a lot to him. That was most of the important stuff from an ESPN insider on him

As you type that, 247 is saying that Garner is in play for a job at Auburn.
