With the help of Coach Fox, it looks like we might back in it with Brandon Langley...

LINK

quote:

“I actually got a chance to meet with Coach Mark Fox the head basketball coach and assistant coach Philip Pearson,” Langley said to DawgNation. “Basketball is my first love and I cannot give it up. Coach Fox told me they would love to have me. They need a point guard so I am in luck with that if I were to choose Georgia. They have two point guards and they said they need three. If I did go there, that would be a plus.”

quote:

Langley said he enjoyed the openness of both Fox and head coach Mark Richt, as well as the fact that it wasn’t the typical sell coaches give to recruits.

quote:

“Coach Fox actually talked to Coach Richt beforehand and when I got up there he said that Coach Richt was cool with it,” Langley said. “I definitely liked that. It is very intriguing, especially with how Coach Fox was. I expected him to just tell me what he thought I wanted to hear, but he seemed genuinely into it.”

Also, I removed Trenton Brown from the commit list. Said UGA is behind Arizona, too. Hope he has fun wherever he goes.

LHB?

I know he'll be at the game tomorrow, which is big.

edit: I see where there are reports he has pulled the trigger. Isn't the first rumor about him committing to UGA, though.

Is that what they're saying as well? I just heard it from somebody that he will be announcing around 1.

Added to the commit list.

Big pick up for the DL. Now all we need is Adams or Johnson...or both.

In all seriousness, I have been hoping this guy would commit for a LONG time now. Welcome Mr. Griffin!

Nice.

What gets me is that half of those guys probably were about to get their head shot off. Yet the sign still says "no smoking."

AKA, Normandy is on my bucket list.

old stalingrad would be cool to visit. Operation Barbarossa could be argued as the major turning point of the European theatre

I am definitely going to Iwo Jima and Peleliu the second I get the chance. I have always been fascinated with the Pacific theater of war.
