i knew we'd come out flat and FAU would move the ball a little. playing to the level of competition is a richt staple. but the sky isn't falling because of it cause we still kicked arse

I brought this up to my buddy at the start of the game. I just wondered why we never ran it. Then Bobo started to make actual adjustments and boom, there it was. I like it alot, especially with getting Gurley a good head of steam. Posted on 9/16/12 at 3:28 pm to gatorhata9
i mean it's FAU and we got 700 yds but that was probably Murray and Bobo's best game ever. i mean i don't want to go overboard because again, it's fricking FAU, but i liked what i saw whether it was formations, pace, or at times play calling. we'll see if that continues or not but still not bad

Play calling always looks better with good execution. (and a great running back helps)

true but there was more than that i saw really. kinda hard to really give a good description because i was also seeing like 33 players on defense at the time but they just seemed a lot more crisp than i am used to seeing out of a bobo coached offense.

Me and my friends always talk about another funny scenario that would definitely never happen. This would have to be during a blackout of course. We turn all the lights down except the ribbon boards so it's super dark. Then we have torches lining out of the tunnel and do like the Undertaker. We bring out a coffin while bells are playing. Then Richt pops up out of the coffin as the camera zooms in on his face and his eyes are rolled back in his head like the Undertaker does.

Not only no, but Hell No! Let's stop with all the turning Sanford Stadium into a circus act. I don't mind some different entrance music by any means, but the theatrics need to stay the hell away.

I will say though, I have another idea I've had since middle school that would be the very definition of badass and make GA/FL probably the coolest rivalry in all of sports.
Build a new stadium directly straddling the state line, and have the UGA fans side in Georgia and the UF fans in Florida. I guess the biggest issue would be what to do with it outside of the game, but surely some high schools or something could play there, or they could turn it into a baseball field the rest of the year or something. And granted, there won't be near as much going on as there is in Jacksonville, but hot damn that would just be the coolest thing ever if it were to happen.

of course. But I was kind of referring to theatrics in general. Although I wouldn't mind seeing them come out on the field to something besides Baba O'reilly.
