luckily she's known me for a while and stories about how stupid i am during games have already made it over. if she can stomach a game with me, though, that makes her a damn winner.

4 years of games with me (both home and away) and I finally realized her tolerance was a supreme high for my bullshite

I met her at JR's Friday night so I don't really know her. My friend and I were walking through to the outdoor room upstairs and he pulls the "Haaaavveee you met Hata?" from How I met Your Mother and we went from there

But I get a second date cooking will probably be the way to go

hata, you don't wanna go to porterhouse or depalmas on the first date. I made that mistake with a girl I was talking to for a little bit, then asked her to a nice dinner for our first date and it freaked her out and we stopped talking.

A classic, go-to first date spot is Rusans. It's cheap (they have a dollar menu with 3 pieces/$1, although if you dont' wanna seem cheap you don't have to get that obviously) and bitches fricking love sushi. It's super casual and a nice little way to ease into things. Transmet for date #2 is good then anything goes from there on out.

A really trusted, usually spot on insider on one of the pay boards is saying rambo and tree definitely aren't playing this week. He said if he had to guess (and this isn't knowledge, simply a guess) tree was originally gonna get 6 games (for a 2nd failed test) and after the appeal got it down to 4. Again though that was more of a guess than fact.

I really hate that Richt is doing this shite and Grantham sure doesnt' seem happy either. Like I said on the rant I honestly don't think Norman back there is too big of a killer, but not having tree hurt us bad against buffalo.

Yeah, went to The Globe. Had a good time, paid $25 total. Definitely wanted to keep it casual and I got a second date so I guess it worked.

shite. That sucks. If this is in fact the case we're going to really need the defensive line to step up and get serious pressure so Franklin doesn't have time to look Norman's way.

Is that the typical process? I thought a second positive test was four games. Just asking.

I have no idea, I guess if he was under that impression maybe a second test is 50% of the games which would be 6.

I don't really know though, and again that was pure speculation on his part so it could be totally wrong. However, he is pretty confident that they'll both miss saturday.

Yeah, I've already settled my mind that will be the case. I'm not a pessimist by nature, but I really don't like the way things are adding up for this game.

I think the game will go one of two ways:

1) The months of gameplanning we've done for this game will pay off. We have a chip on our shoulder, we open the playbook, and our definite talent advantage takes over. We play with discipline, pride, and take care of business in a 14+ point win

2) We get lazy, come out flat, don't give them respect and let them hang around and hang around all game. They'll hit a big play or 2 to swing momentum, we'll get rattled and start turning it over, and we lose by about 10.

I obviously hope that it's option 1, but I don't see this being a 3 point game. I think whoever wins is gonna do it by double digits. Either them because they're jacked and we crack to the pressure, or us because we play like we're frickin supposed to and impose our will.

I feel our talent overall is better, but these suspensions have to be distracting, not to mention three starters we were leaning on to be defensive playmakers and leaders. Not having Tree is killing us.

We can't get in a shooting match with these guys and expect to win.

We'v apparently game planned more for Mizzou over the summer than Buffalo...I think everyone realizes the importance of getting off to a 1-0 start in division play and the embarrassment a loss to the newb would cause.

Yes we have; Bauta has been imitating James Franklin on the scout team for at least 3 weeks now.

He does but more importantly the players do as well.

Richt actually said this was our most important game of the year a few weeks back.

I should damn well hope so.

Sometimes I just get the feeling that Richt doesn't stress winning enough to his players.

I know that sounds stupid. I know. He wants to win, he's a competitor. But making statements like he has in the past about winning not being the most important thing doesn't help his reputation as a coach or being the ultimate motivator. We all realize that winning football games is not the most important thing in life, but when it's your job to do just that, it sends a unmotivated message to your fanbase, and worse, to the team.

Being embarrassed by the noobs matters.

Not winning a NC in 30 years matters.
Not winning a SECC in 20 years matters.
Losing to TN 9 years in a row matters.
Losing 18 of 21 to FLA matters.
Being labeled as a team that will always blow their opportunities matters.

Matters to the fans. Should matter to the coach and players. It's a label that will follow them forever.
