Not 2013 recruiting but I met John Theus in PCB this week over spring break. Real nice guy. Huge ging, was wearing a tank top so he wouldn't get burned. Wasn't drinking and had 3 smokin hot UGA freshmen girls with him. Just thought I would throw that out there.

Sweetums huh? I dig it. The dude is super goofy. I just love the fact that he's a senior in high school and he already had 3 smokin hot college girls with him. They weren't from his high school either, they were from all over.

Carlton Thomas was a kid who played hard, which is more than you can say for some, but he just isn't an SEC caliber running back. Hope he does well where ever he lands, though.

was he just a filler scholarship or what, i wanna know what the recruitment of CT was like and how/why it even happened. did he look like he had breakaway speed or was shifty in HS or what?

His HS film was pretty impressive, but I've got to wonder if his speed was over rated. Shifty, but not fast. Also, dumb, but not smart.

Not filler at all. Looking at his HS film it was pretty impressive and he was a 4*. He was pretty shifty and had good moves and seemed to be able to break away. I guess we were looking for a change of pace guy to come in that we could use for screens and stuff but he was just never utilized properly. I find it odd that he's transferring so late in his career and he has zero chance at the NFL, so I guess he simply wants to see some action. I guess I don't blame the guy since we have so many studs at RB now but it seems like he had a good thing being at a top 50 public University for free and being a UGA football player.

This. He was offered by Notre Dame according to Rivals. Take that fwiw.
