Over 100K easy. I think 102-104ish.

I expect the Rice game to be much lower.

Damn, that's pretty good. Will all of the conference home games likely be sellouts?

Who knows. I could be way off.

I expect Ole Miss to have a strong crowd. I don't expect much for the Mizzou & State games. LSU should be the biggest game in Kyle Field history uintil they exapand again (if ever?)

I think it's 91k for all games this far.

Advantages: First chance to get a look at all the construction and renovation.

It's a home opener which generally have high attendances regardless.

Disadvantages: Lamar

I don't know how the game will shake out but if A&M looks bad in Week 1 against us some people may not bother to go see Lamar.

It's a night game so I think it's gonna sell out. If it were in the day it might scare away those with young children.

I do know I'll be there for every game

I won't be getting that sports pass that is offered to students. I don't care much for A&M's home schedule this year and the only games from other sports I'll be going to are when SC comes to town so I'll only buy 1 or 2 tickets total if SC baseball / basketball come to College Station this upcoming season.

Might have to get that pass for 2015 if for no other reason than to ensure that I have a ticket for the SC-A&M game. Plus they have other big home games vs AU and 'Bama as well which I would enjoy going to.

You are on crack. You could be getting seats on the 2nd deck 50 yard line which go for ten of thousands of dollars on the opposite side of the stadium. Make a few friends and all your Saturdays are set.

No shite.

And you can't call yourself a sports fan if you only want to see YOUR team or a "big game." Hell, I even go to Cougar High games now and then.

Yep, as a Grad student you get to pick first with the Sr's. Essentially a lock to sit in prime seating every game for half price. LSU and Ole Miss games make it worth it by themselves.

What do you look like? I might throw you the money so you can get it for me if I can pass for your student ID

You are retarded. As a grad student you can pull second deck seats between the 35s for every game with a student pass.

Okay and if I were going to 7-8 SC football games this year for $250 I'd buy it in a heartbeat (SC doesn't charge students by the way)

I'm about to live off of and plunge myself into student loan debt for the next 2 years. I have to be frugal and cheap as shite so I'm certainly not going to spend $250 on games I'm not going to.

Yeah I could go around and scalp them each Saturday, although finding someone who just wants 1 ticket isn't as easy (besides selling to actual scalpers, but I'll be spending my Saturdays in front of the TV watching my team play.

Why take away a ticket that is in super demand from an Aggie fan that will put them to good use? I mean I guess I could request it if you guys don't mind a home ticket in a non-Aggie's hand.

Yep. I'm not a sports fan because I don't want to watch Lamar, Rice, ULM, Ole Miss and Mizzou against a team that I have no rooting interest for or against.

eta: Could I even scalp or do they require student IDs? The way SC did it was that you claimed a ticket, printed out the ticket, and it was scanned in at the gate, all anyone needed was a student ID. It didn't matter if that student was the one who claimed the ticket or not.

Now they do it where they actually put the ticket on the ID itself.
