The most delicious irony would be for Starkel to go to Miami and beat out Tate Martrell.

However, everything I'm reading is he's going to either Washington State or Oklahoma State.

and TD Moton, too

Man, I remember how excited we were to get this guy in and all the drama with him barely getting in with the academic requirements.

Sucks that he hasn’t done anything since, and apparently is looking to transfer out. I thought he would end up being a good one for us....

What are rules as far as recruiting players once they enter the transfer portal? There are a couple LB's listed that were big time recruits that would fill a position of need rather nicely imo.

I noticed Nick Harvey is in the transfer portal. Wondering what the story is there.

Time to revisit the running total?

QB: Starkel (TBD)
RB: Strong (Troy), Kibodi (TBD)
WR: McZeal (TBD), Chriss (Prairie View), Parker (TSU)
DL: Moton (TBD)
DB: Moore (UH)

(Oliver - Please please please)

There will be more, shortly after Spring practice... in order to take a decent, not even normal-sized class next year a lot more have to leave

Just off the top of my head, players who will likely never see the field again that haven't already announced an intent to transfer or left:

Antonio Howard
Ondario Robinson
Riley Anderson
Moses Reynolds
Camron Horry

Pretty good list, although I wouldn't rule out Horry just yet. Also, I believe Howard was a consistent special teams contributor. Others I would add to the list that don't seem likely to contribute in the future:

Kellen Diesch
Jacob Kibodi
Deneric Prince
Devin Morris

Kibodi has supposedly already put his name in the transfer portal.

Prince was hurt a lot of 2018 and will likely see playing time in 2019, given that we are effectively down to 5 backs (4 if Spiller redshirts) and it's very possible both Jackson and Richardson could see time at fullback.

I'm interested to see what happens at FB. I'm not convinced we are going to just move big backs there because they are big. It's such a different position. And on Prince, he may get a few carries here and there but he is behind 4 other guys at this point IMO.

I'll be bummed if Les Miles' son doesn't win the job
