Shaggy's new ownership
In 2009 I entered a business agreement with some people that didn't go exactly as planned and ended up getting in a lawsuit over the ownership of shaggy.
Apparently if you spend $500k+, your lawyer is on a first name basis with the judge, and you have no qualms about repeatedly lying on the stand you can win ownership of something you don't really need.
Basically it came down to spite. Kevin Morgan , a guy worth tens of millions of dollars decided he needed to get back at me, due to his investment in our company that went sideways. Sometime in the next week he's going to send someone by to pick up the servers.
A friend of mine is going to set up a new site. I won't own it, but I will help him moderate it.

Well, that.........blows. Now they will all spread like cockroaches and it'll be harder to troll them in unison.

My question is, how the hell does a judge take the "tree fiddy" literally? How do you even put a monetary value on a site like that? Wasn't it run by ads and donations? The new owner faces a yuge Exodus of users.

For real. At least from what I've read I'm on the old owner's side. This other dude sounds like a petty douche.

That was my first thought as well.
But then again, I'd like to know what was the business investment and how exactly it went bad. I'm no lawyer, but I imagine that all cases that go through court can be looked up by the public, no?

Haven't they, as a board, DOX'd a few people as well in the past? He's using Shaggy tactics on shaggy users. That would be like Taylor Hamm stealing recruiting info from us and using it on his pay board.
IMO, both parties are coming out looking bad. Anyone know the details of the lawsuit? It should tell us who is the one who started all this.
