Just remember, no matter how many times aggy throws horns down, they'll always be chicken-head eating geeks from the inbred incubator part of the piney woods of Texas.

I thought they just called it the Sliver?
And I'm not going to comment on the Bonfire joke.

Yes, because they do $#@! like that and it gets me all angry. That's what rivalries are, you aren't supposed to like them, you're supposed to want to see their faces stomped in the dirt. Watching sports gets more exciting the more you have at stake in the outcome. It kills me to see Aggy beat us, and I love knowing that it kills them even more when we beat them. You just don't get the same feeling playing some team without 100+ years of bad blood.
Wait a minute...we are or we aren't rivals? I can never keep up.
Oh and frick them to hell. I hope we crush them and then end the game with a brawl and Childress rips Augies fricking head off and eats his brains on national TV.

I honestly don't even understand it. We never did this when I was in school but damn I would have if I'd have known what a blind rage it put them in

I don't understand why it upsets them so much. If someone did an upside down gig em I would either laugh or not care

their reaction exceeds someone punching them in the nuts. It defies comprehension.

Any idea who we might be starting? We have a few options.
Kent, freeman, Corey Ray or possibly Mengden plus guys like Hendrix and Schlottman are available

RC said in the post-game yesterday he wasn't sure.
Here's our pitching situation
Long - OUT
P Ray - OUT
Stubblefield - OUT
Mengden - 53 pitches in start on Friday
Kent - 75 pitches in relief on Friday
C Ray - 51 pitches in relief on Saturday
Minter - 22 pitches in relief on Sat. 42 pitches in relief on Sunday. I think he's probably out but maybe he could be a situational lefty
Vinson - 7 pitches in relief on Sunday
Schlottmann - 23 pitches in relief on Sunday
Jester - 19 pitches in relief on Sunday
Freeman - has not pitched this weekend
Hendrix - has not pitched this weekend
Someone on TA is saying he's hearing Kent btw. If true, only conclusion that I can come to is Mengden is hurt because there is no reason he shouldn't be the starter over Kent. I was pretty shocked to see Kent warming up last night though so clearly they aren't going to hesitate to throw him.

I want Ray to start then bring in DM, Vinson, & Schlott. (no order)

Even though Mengden struggled Friday and has disappointed a bit this season I want him starting if he's healthy. If not him then I agree on Ray
Kent seems like a choice that would be set up to go only the first three or four innings then bring in someone like Ray. I guess I wouldn't be opposed to that either

I wouldn't be opposed to starting Jester either. He might be able to go 5 innings.

Yeah he's been so inconsistent this year and has been hit pretty hard but he has the type of stuff that could dominate if he's on. I would think at the least he's near the top of the line to come out of the pen late in the game tonight

The first time I EVER saw a horns down was from the movie Summer Catch. Had some character from OU with the longhorn head upside down as a tattoo on his arm.
I don't get it but I'm old.
