Him getting up to the podium after several losses and immediately blaming fan turn out rubbed me wrong. Having said that, I don’t blame him for leaving for Maryland, especially since it brought us BK.

i liked turge when he was here, but when he left some of the things he did and said made it sound like we were beneath him. maryland fans have given him an earful for years so maybe hes a little more humble now.

I am still so confused with Aggie basketball... Is Kennedy good? Are we going to Aggy this somehow? I really thought we made a mistake keeping Kennedy after the choke job a couple of years ago, but obviously I was wrong. What in the hell am I supposed to think right now?

Basketball has always been the most "Jimmys and Joes" sport. If you have the players, any coach will have a reasonable amount of success. To BK's credit, he has acquired the talent and we'll probably be a top-10/15 caliber team all year long.

That being said, if you match him up in a tournament game against Coach K or Izzo his players better play out of their mind because he's gonna gets pantsed on Xs and Os.

The issue is we're never going to win a game because we outschemed somebody. We're going to beat teams on talent, and when the talent is equal or better than ours we will have problems if the opposing coach read "offensive basketball for dummies".

I guess I'd have to understand what a "pleb" was first.

I know what a plebe is.

The synonym "scrut" is a keeper.

serious question, is BK highly medicated, or is this just his personality? I'm listeing to his texags interview right now, and he just seems lifeless...which matches his courtside personality. i've always wondered if it's all of the medication he's likely on, or if he was like this before his diagnosis? or maybe a combo of the two?

I believe what you’re hearing is called swag. Not fake Sumlin swag, real swag. The kind of swag that says you’re a real boss doing boss things and you don’t have to jump around and shout to show everyone.

I was at Murray State during the Billy Kennedy and some prohm years. BK has always been very chill, but his illness has certainly affected him.

eah this makes sense. it's a combo of a relatively laid-back demeanor, and the illness/medication for illness.

He’s a hell of a guy though. No matter what you think about his coaching, he’s a man of strong character.

What I'm not sure about is how much longer Kennedy can coach.

At some point, his condition will suddenly and rapidly hit, forcing his retirement.
