per RPI Forecast. Slightly different probabilities but 2nd number is predicted RPI for those interested.

Last year the top 8 in RPI got the 1-2 seeds. SMU is a wildcard obviously this year but RPI was very important to seeding

28-3 4.1 5.96%
27-4 7.2 20.60%
26-5 11.0 31.77%
25-6 15.5 25.27%
24-7 20.5 11.79%
23-8 26.7 3.72%
22-9 35.9 0.78%
21-10 47.6 0.08%
20-11 53.5 0.02%

Is it wrong to say this is my all-time favorite Aggie bball team to watch play? Because it is.

Coaching aside I really like the current roster and the entertainment value of their combined output.

I'm afraid that number should actually be higher. We're a pretty decent team, but we play terrible on the road... even against average-to-bad SEC teams (see 'Bama and UT).

How early do you suppose I have to get there to get in with 5K student tickets available?

I didn't mean it like that. I mean I like the players themselves, the roster, their stories and they way they gel as a team. I give BK credit for putting it all together and winning coaching but what I really like and will look back on is not individual games but the current players. I was trying to avoid a coaching debate.

Honestly Pat I am not smart enough when it comes to basketball to know what is good coaching or not, or even good basketball or not. I am like a homeschool kid in the Musée d'Orsay who had never seen fine French art before because the book would have too many titties in it. I just like what I see.

Sorry to hit a nerve, will go back to not commenting.

You know I'm just sensitive about the topic Especially when we lose one game that everyone knew would have to come eventually, a "how good would we be with good coaching" thread immediately pops up.

I feel you it, I can see why you were being defensive. Honestly it's my bad, you have a lovely thread here that I like to lurk in and I should know better than to even mention coaching (even to exclude it).

Apparently. Wish the men's game would follow suit. 2 halves is retarded.

for reals. I much prefer three halves like in hockey

What is the difference between a 20 minute half and two 10 minute quarters? Just the forced timeout? I'm neither for or against (though I'm sure I could be persuaded) but my initial blush is it seems rather inconsequential

70-63 final, USC. They're 21-0. I guess they're pretty good or something.

what i find frustrating is how we have legit scoring options yet we have a kind of mediocre offense. we are 53rd in the country in ORtg and kenpom has us at 50th in offensive efficiency

while we have an elite of the elite defense, 3rd in the country in efficiency according to kenpom and 9th in DRtg. its stupid to bitch about when we have been doing so well but the offense could just be better. the 2006-2007 team was 7th in offensive efficiency and 20th in defensive efficiency according to kenpom
