This is the first time I've seen Kennedy start screaming at the officials. It must be REALLY bad.

I really really really hate our half court offensive scheme.

Unfortunately I doubt Florida will be a quality win by seasons end, but hopefully they can stay in the top 50 of the RPI.

It gets my blood pressure up, and not for good reasons.

4-0 in conference start WHOOP

So its another Kennedy loss despite the win, right?

Florida is a great defensive team.
There's nothing wrong with our half court scheme, other than you don't like it.

Well that's just not correct. It's good, but there are still issues with it (some execution and some design)

Other than our offensive efficiency ranking drops about 30 spots in the half court
We are an elite transition/outlet team. We are very long and athletic and run the floor well at all five spots in the majority of our lineup packages, and have two GREAT passers in Collins and Caruso. Because of this we are very successful against teams that like to press and tend to dominate teams that turn the ball over a lot.
However, when we can't get a bucket in the first ten seconds of the shot clock our efficiency drops quiet a bit. We stand around a lot and tend to wait for House or Jones to make a play. Our most successful set plays are down screens for House, post clear outs to Davis and the wing iso with Jones. We are pretty successful against man because of this, and because we have good wing players who can effectively drive and finish or draw contact. Against zone, and this has always been the case with Kennedy, we are rarely anything more than below average and frequently inept. We usually just wait around for someone to jack up a contested jumper which thankfully we can finally hit sometimes the last two years.
We simply don't effectively do the most basic things you are supposed to do against zone defense to beat it.

Maryland lost to UM tonight. More coming.

we're 14-2, 1st place int the SEC, have won 7 in a row (6 of whom are power conference opponents and murdering a couple of em), already have 5 top 50 rpi wins and if we can beat UGA this weekend, we'll be staring at a top 10 ranking.
And yet somehow I read this thread and posters are complaining about how our offense sucks, our coaches suck, our players are regressing and soft, our FT shooting sucks and we aren't good enough to beat the 96 Bulls

We are aggy, success is our enemy.
Even when we go to the final four, aggy will still be claiming that Kennedy was holding us back from the natty. Doesn't matter, Billy is STILL shaking the haters off.

This man. I've had a feeling for a while now that the pin-drop-silence at home was negatively affecting our free throws. We shall see how it averages out the rest of the season, but I wouldn't be surprised if it holds.
I'm not saying we should yell when our guys are shooting free throws, but don't go silent like youre at church listening to the preacher.

In CBS Sports updated bracketology, we are now the third seed in the west. Also we are now 10th in RPI.

The updated stats are 66.2% from the foul line at home in conference.

So do we go 5-0 and get the Georgia monkey off out back?
3-0 on the road in SEC play is not easy to come by.
Team rankings has it as the 5th hardest remaining game behind @ Vandy (#1), @ Arky, @ LSU, and vs Vandy (#4). Surprisingly vs UK is only 6th hardest.
They also has us at a 53.9% chance of winning the SEC.
24.8-6.2 (14.1-3.9)
