Anybody else notice the concerning trend of Tyler not hitting his free throws the last several games? When the season started he was doing a nice job, but these past few games he's been bad from the line. Really one of the only concerns I have moving forward.

His form looks good--sometimes the ball just ain't dropping for whatever reason. Something to keep an eye on but not a big concern yet, IMO.

Tbird putting my mind at ease.

Also CGSC, I'd love to see players free throw stats for home games vs. away games. I'm convinced that the fans at Reed get entirely too quiet during our free throws. I feel like we might shoot worse at home than away. I could be way off, but it always drives me crazy how quiet it gets. Reminds me of shooting technical fouls. I was always hyper aware when shooting technical fouls compared to free throws, you could feel everyone's eyes on you.

I mean, I hope it's not the sign of long-term free throw struggles, but he's a true fish and a lot of the FTs he's missed have been on line but hitting back iron.

That always freaks me out when the home crowd does that at basketball games. Most players can deal with the uptick in noise on the road since it's part of the normal game ambiance. The sudden hushed silence would throw me way the hell off

There's clearly some development going on. All you have to do is compare the play between last year and this year.

You may be on to something.

Aggregate FT stats for home vs. neutral vs. away:

Home: 142/229 (62.0%)

Neutral: 48/64 (75%)

Away: 10/21 (47.6%)

If you combine the road (1 game) and neutral numbers, you get 58/85, or 68.2%

we're ranked 21 in AP poll this week. We actually dropped. I guess we needed to beat Arkansas by 100

But we moved up 2 spots to 17 in coaches poll

Dafuq?

Maybe because our RPI dropped after running them off the court. Oh well. I'm not worried about it. We're about to go 14-4 in conference which is probably good enough to win it this year.

Nothing nefarious. Iowa jumped from unranked to 19 after beating last week's #14 Purdue.

I don't know why ESPN switched their rankings to the AP poll or when. They used to go off the coaches poll.

The SEC really is not good in basketball. Like I get it hasn't always been that way but wow. I kind of wish we were still in the Big 12 for basketball only-yes I said it

Well LSU appears to be a force. I'm not going to get my hopes up yet but should be an interesting SEC schedule. The unusual suspects showed up tonight so if they can continue to play well I think we can have a go at this. Good luck Aggies. I'll be watching.
