This is what I meant saying he's considered a much better prospect than Christine Michael, who himself was a big time recruit. Evans will probably be the biggest recruiting test Jimbo faces at A&M his first handful of classes.

Yep. Trayveon continuing to have a huge season will only help. Texas' run game looks like it will be a struggle this season.

LSU and Alabama will be as much of a concern, when it comes to recruiting Evans.
And yeah Trayveon having a huge season would be a big boost to our chances. Frankly the offense looks perfectly suited for him, and the depth chart will be inviting.

Yeah I think the depth chart will sort itself out and I don't think there is an elite guy in either of the classes in front of him that would deter him if he aspires to win the starting spot his FR year.
I'm not saying he'll choose us because he's afraid of competition or because we don't have any good RBs. I just think Jimbo will have a good opportunity to sell the position to a caliber of player he's landed before but doesn't have at A&M.
