Yesterday, Mansfield Legacy ATH Jeffery Carter tweeted he would be enrolling early, and TexAgs brought the news of Baylor Cupp's early enrollment last night. Brauninger has also recently confirmed that DL DeMarvin Leal and QB Zach Calzada plan to enroll early. That brings the number of early enrollees in Texas A&M's 2019 class to 10.

Below are others we have listed as early enrollees at this time

CB Bobby Wolfe
WR Kameron Brown
LB Andre White
OL Adrian Medley
LB RJ Orebo
K Caden Davis

LB Tarian Lee also told us that early enrollment is a possibility, which would bring the number to 11.

Isn't Andre White supposed to be an early enrollee as well? Would be great if 3 of the 4 LBs are on campus ahead of spring practice.

Is RJ Orebo really linebacker? I assumed he would play WDE. I know it is a hybrid position, but still.

To me, he’s the most puzzling recruit this year

He is supposed to be a really good basketball player, so I am assuming he is a long athletic guy that they think they can coach up. Hope I am assuming right on the athleticism. He helped big time pulling Christian Harris, so I love that.

According to practice reports, Martin at 6’5” 240 and Wilson at 6’6” 230, were both cross training and doing drills with the rovers.

So I could see them putting him there.

Rover or drop (stand up DE)? Rover is more of a DB/LB hybrid

The rovers, they started in the drop back/stand up DE drills but were seen doing both. Hines has also been doing drills with the rovers and was in the 1st team there yesterday. Johnson has been been seen inside backing up Dodson and Alaka, Tarp said Johnson looks bigger than Hines now.

Pretty please. It’s too far off for me to get emotionally invested in this, but I can’t help myself.

Last 5* rbs we’ve had were Trey, Michael, and Goodson?

I don't think Goodson was, but yes to C-Mike and Trey. We got Williams in as a transfer.

However, I think most consider Evans a much better prospect than any of them except for maybe C-Mike.

is he actually hearing anything? what did he say? because texags usually does the "im not hearing it, but i feel like it will end this way" which i dont really buy much stock into. but zach evans would probably be the best player in our program from day one and would probably be a top 10 back in the country as a freshman. absolute, no doubt, once in a generation guy

Just a gut feeling he has,

quote:

Bold Prediction - Something crazy happened on my way to a bold prediction. I was going to go out on a limb and make a big statement, put my foot down, and step out on that ledge and state Zach Evans will be an Aggie. I thought, "Man, this is going to be huge." I even thought about it last week and decided "Let's not do that just yet." Still I kept coming back to it. Then I talked to Billy Liucci and I told him my big prediction, and he said, "I'm doing the same thing and for the same reasons." So maybe I'm not so big and bold, or I am not the only one thinking it anyway, but I am doing it just the same. Mark it down, I'm calling it. The Aggies break through at North Shore and win what is sure to be an epic recruiting fight for Zach Evans. Now, there is still a very long way to go on this one, and he is not making any announcement plans any time soon. And before any of you wise guys ask, no, TPG has not been in the area for an announcement video. This has more to do with how I see Jimbo Fisher prioritizing Evans and how Jay Graham is hot on his trail. The A&M offense will be a very good fit for his talents, and it is close to home and in the SEC. I think the combination of fit and attention eventually wins out. Again, there is a long way to go and I would not even call the Aggies his leader, but I'm calling my shot now.

Pretty sure WCA was discussing Leal. Easy to get mixed up in that discussion though
