Either one of those would be a huge statement towards our ability to recruit nationally.

Hahahahah.... EJ from 247

quote:

“8. Comparing DBs — Texas A&M had a big weekend as it landed a pair of four-star defensive backs in Erick Young and Bobby Wolfe. Young had an eye-opening performance at The Opening, while Wolfe showed off the physicality and length that makes him a four-star prospect. While Texas offered both, the Longhorns didn’t exactly push. I see Young as more of a safety at the next level, and the Longhorns landed a damn good one in Chris Adimora this past weekend. I would take the latter if given the choice. While I have Wolfe ranked higher on my corner board, I feel like Marques Caldwell, who is a Texas lean, has more upside. If Texas is able to close with him soon, the Longhorns might get the better end of the deal here.”

EJ is an idiot, and even sip fans are beginning to question him. No ties to any of the coaches, and has never played a down of football in his life

Hell, people complain about Perroni, Liucci, and Hamm but at least they report the truth as opposed to what they "want" it to be

let's not get crazy

Liucci has hyped up every recruiting class, coaching hire, strength and conditioning change, etc. the last 20 years. And we have one double digit win season, zero conference championships and zero BCS bowls to show for it.

And I don't really follow Perroni closely but Hamm is just a fan like everyone else, with clear A&M bias.

Honestly Peronni doesn’t really hype or try to evaluate talent much. He just gives his interpretation on what he thinks our chances are of landing a guy and what the priorities are for our staff. He is the easily the least biased of any of our recruiting guys IMO

Yeah, but none of us have ever claimed to be recruiting experts.

I know we've joked about it, but we are no experts. We just compile shite.

So we're too stupid to know when somebody is overhyping recruits?

They are all fanboys. Its us the fans that are stupid, gullible or both. These guys are in sales...
