Not only that, but no turnovers. It defies logic.

drops, untimely penalties, and a few blown blocking assignments.

also, Vandy has a killer red zone D and they made some great plays.

Quitter!

Without all the WR drops A&M would have won 42-0. I'm all for firing Spavital, but we can't blame him for those. The one call that I know we all hated was the long bomb on 4th and inches. Vandy had not stopped Carson for no gain all night, and we only needed inches. That was a head-scratcher.

Classic Spav! Just when you think his game calling can't get any worse, he proves us wrong.

it was a head scratcher, but Vandy had indeed stoppped Carson for a no gain. In fact, at near the end of the first quarter on a third and one inside their 5 yard line, they stopped Carson for negative yards because one of the D linemen waltzed into our backfield unblocked.

I think it was our second FG.

still was a horrid call imo.

i think we will have a hard time with their running game, but we should be able to put up plenty of points on their defense.

it's not like they have chavis at dc...

When we get short fields we stall out, we need something to change so that we can move the ball on short fields, something like I don't know a slant route or maybe some crossing routes over the middle or even, now y'all sit down, a fricking under center lead blocked run.

I was yelling at the top of my lungs when Reynolds was running down the field on that bomb to not get tackled from behind because I knew if that second DB caught up and tackled him, we would be settling for a field goal instead of a TD. Glad Reynolds took it the distance and we at least got in the end zone once.

Spav still needs to go.

Personally I think if we just keep running on short yardage in the shotgun with the RB having no blocking an being 7 yards behind the line needing 6 inches it is bound to work. Kind of like running our 235lb power RB to the outside on the short side of the field.

I love how we run the Zone Read with our big RB going outside instead of up the middle like everyone else. It's awesome. It's great as well how we have our pocket passing QB run the ball but don't run our running QB.

The level of deception we have in our offense is amazing and it's bound to pay off. No one can possibly think we are stupid enough to keep running those plays.
