You might be right. After 1st vs after 3rd game is quite a bit different. 2 additional games is a lot for linemen.
Ags after 3rd game last year vs after 3rd game this year is a bit different don't you think? Trust me, I really hope I am wrong.

Injuries have hurt the growth of the OL. From what I can tell perusing the boards, some of the OL we have are simply worthless. Injuries at tackle could be even more devastating. I briefly watched some highlights this morning - but those don't show how terrible the OL is playing

Lol. Arkansas is finally gonna bend Aggy over and make ‘em squeal like a pig.

This years line is clearly not going to be as good as last. But your comment was “can it improve significantly over the course of the year”. It absolutely can and we saw it last year and we’ve also seen it in past years where it’s been inexperienced like it is now. I remember how much better our line got over the course of 2010 when we were inexperienced with new faces

I'm not sure how anyone can be confident about this game. While our defense has shown to be pretty damn good, we haven't shown much promise against the run. Arkansas has a top 10 rushing offense, so our defense will have their hands full. Add to that our QB situation and O-line struggles.
This definitely feels like a game that will be won (or lost) by one of the kickers.

We haven’t?
We have up 110 rush yards the last 6 quarters.
Kent State had a QB that scrambled. Elko made the adjustments after game 1.
The LB play has gotten better each game.
They’re going to have trouble moving the ball on us on the ground.

First 6 quarters: 34 carries for 366 yards (10.8 ypc)
Last 6 quarters: 45 carries for 120 yards (2.68 ypc)
First 6 quarters rush defense would put us at dead last by a WIDE MARGIN in yards per carry and 124th in yards per game.
Last 6 quarters rush defense would put us at 20th in yards per carry and 18th in yards per game.

Kent State has a good run game. They're top 10.
Colorado and New Mexico are #80 and #94, so that explains the good 6 quarters.
For further reference, Kent State put up 225 yards on the ground against A&M, but could only muster up 79 against Iowa.
Running defense isn't a strength.

If Robinson is out much longer, the offensive line mistakes will only intensify

Now do pass offense against us vs against Iowa.
I do think Nuno is drunk on the Kool Aid.

Our gameplay against KSU was to take away the passing game. That came at the expense of running game statistics.

First 6 quarters: No Clemons and No Jackson for most of it.
Last 6 quarters: Clemons for all and Jackson for most.
We put more experienced, more talented players on the field and the discipline went up and so did the results.

I'm not denying that our pass defense has been lights out. The problem is that Arkansas can run the ball. Their offensive strength is going up against our weakest link in the defense.

The fun part about all this is we'll find out Saturday, I'm done worrying about it. I believe in the coaching staff to get us ready, we'll see what happens but I'm pretty excited for the game

The closer we get to the game the more confident I am

I'm the same way, it's gonna be a tough game but it is no where near as unwinnable as people are making it seem

Sounds like selling out against the run and making them pass is the way to go.
