How many trick plays do we see Saturday? Fake punts/FGs , going for it on 4th down, onside kicks all that

I bet a lot, O has nothing to lose or gain so might as well.

Really pivotal game here as we can still win double digits this season with a bowl win if we first beat LSU and build momentum with the recruiting class. Lose and its just another 8-4 season going to some mediocre bowl.

I think we can win, but the offense has to show up on Saturday. Dont even need Bama game Calzada, just somewhere between that one and the Calzada we've seen in every other game. Defense should be able to keep them in check and really tighten down after halftime like Elko usually does with his adjustments.

If LSU plays the way they did against ULM, they don't score.

Believe they will come out trying to prove a point. I'm expecting a battle.

Like i said last week our former walkon hback going down was huge. Run game wasn’t as effective. Not sure if he’s playing this week or not.

So in your opinion how heated does this series get when A&M finally wins again in Red Stick? I've always thought that would be the trigger to get the hate really flowing in this game.

It’s going to be close. We don’t have the firepower to blow a team out. I’m expecting something similar to Auburn, which looked more lopsided because of the turnovers. If the turnovers don’t come I expect a one score game

It would mean a lot more if the team was playing at their normal level. I think we’re all just ready for O to get going and get a new staff in, so in the short term it wouldn’t mean much. If there was something big at stake then it would definitely add some fire.

Y’all talked the same way when Les was getting fired, y’all all swore the AD was firing him the second the season ended, swore the players had quit on him, Then y’all won, then the players carried him off the field, and then you had Les for another year LOL

Everyone was definitely ready to move on

He was, but he got cucked by the governor and school president at halftime while we were losing. Joe Alleva, folks.

swore the players had quit on him

Some had mentally checked out after the 3 game skid but not to this extent

Then y’all won

This is true tbf

then the players carried him off the field

I didn’t really have control over this

Like 5 games, but yea. Difference now is O is already fired.

Just answering dude’s question

I’m proud of you for not trying to really spin any of those truth bombs

O is already fired, but we’ve seen players play lights out when not expected before

Game discussion:

I think wydermyer is the key for the aggies especially if our rejuvenated defense continues to contain the run. We’ve struggled against tight ends at times (ucla, auburn, arkansaa games for example) last year we had the perfect hybrid player in Jabril Cox to cover him. This year we don’t really have that guy in the LB or safety department

For us we’ll need to run the ball. Which will be difficult if Mashburn is out again (yes, our run game depends on a former walk on hback) Kiner is a good backup to TDP but since Emery is ineligible (or something) Bradford is hurt and Goodwin has entered the witness protection program we don’t really have anyone who’s an outside threat

If we can run enough it’ll help Max get the ball to the young receivers who’ve been impressive. I’m sure y’all remember BTJ from recruiting and Nabors who i really like. You’ll certainly be the best defense we’ve played probably since Auburn

I'm curious to see if we go heavy on the ground with Achane or try and play bully ball with Spiller. There's no denying yall are gonna try and stop the run and force Calazada to beat yall. It comes down to can he be good enough at distributing the ball and can a WR or two step up and hurt yall. A poor effort from our receiving corp is 100% to yalls adavtnage

Im really expecting (and partially mentally preparing ) for a dog fight
