DL and maybe DB are the only places where I see us potentially squeezing out some good players. We’ve been very hesitant to process in state kids (I don’t think we have done it) under Fisher and I’m not going to argue with any strategy he’s taken in recruiting thus far with how we are doing in that department.

It creates a sense of urgency for all these elite kids too which isn’t necessarily a bad thing

Anybody know what we should expect from Ernest Cooper tomorrow. I am getting a Stanford vibe, but am just guessing. I was hoping he would wait.

Right now we're in the mix with #1, #8, #10, #18, & #30 in the nation. They're all on the DL. I like Cooper a lot. It'd be great if he commits, but he may need the room elsewhere. So much is unknown. If it is Stanford then it may not be the worst thing.

I'm pretty sure that we are slow playing Cooper, and it is Stanford. We simply have too much talent on the board right now

No we really didn't. We asked him to wait because we are in it for some very highly ranked players.

I think Cooper was a take but he wasn't someone we felt we needed desperately.

Hypothetical: in what circumstances would (season record) would Kelvin Banks end up signing with the ags?
